WELCOME TO DANCE BEAST
Congratulations on being a part of our Hip Hop Dance Academy! Just like you, we also see the value in extracurricular activities for children & teens. Here at Dance Beast, we use dance as a tool to develop and empower our youth with the skills and confidence to be the next generation of leaders. We appreciate you for allowing us to guide you on your dance journey and are delighted to welcome you and your family to our team.

Core Values
Discipline
At Dance Beast, we help our dancers build a positive self-image through student achievement. We motivate our dancers to “achieve†by teaching them to set goals to master difficult dance routines for upcoming dance performances. We also provide numerous performance opportunities so they can recognize the connection between their effort and results. Lastly, we support our students with praise and feedback that will encourage them to get better with each performance.
When students can consistently achieve goals set for them, that’s discipline. When students set can create their own path towards success, that’s CONFIDENCE.
Confidence
At Dance Beast, we help students cultivate unique skills to create their own style. We do this by providing dancers with opportunities to be creative through freestyle circles, dance battles, dance acting roles, solo performances, and student-led choreography. Students feel proud when they are involved in the creative process and gain confidence in their unique skills. Ultimately, confidence is using your unique skillset to define, pursue, and achieve ambitious goals. This is why we believe “Dancing Builds Confidence and Confidence is the Key to Successâ€.
Leadership
When you think of a leader there is a good chance that you think of someone that exudes confidence.
At Dance Beast, we empower dancers with leadership roles. Class leaders use the self-confidence they gained through dance to inspire new students to do the same. Leadership roles also challenge dancers to develop teaching, problem solving, public speaking, and interpersonal skills. This is the reason why many of our students have gone on to become outstanding leaders and coaches.
Community
Leadership roles give students a voice, helps them develop organizational skills and provides opportunities to give back within a community.
At Dance Beast, we are dedicated to creating a sense of belongingness and connectedness within our dance community. We create team bonding opportunities between our coaches, staff, and families through community events. We work together to build a fun environment where dancers have an opportunity to build confidence, make new friends, and be a part of a winning team.
DANCE TEAM CODE OF CONDUCT
The most important step towards developing dance skills is consistency and commitment. Every class missed is a missed opportunity to learn or improve dance and leadership skills.

Strive To Be An Elite Dance Beast
Elite Dance Beast become outstanding leaders and role models to the team by committing to our core values through their actions.
Elite Dance Beast arrive to every class session on time dressed appropriately in comfortable black tennis shoes, black pants/leggings/shorts, and a Dance Beast Training Tee.
Elite Dance Beast do not bring large jewelry, food, gum, drinks other than water, or toys to class.
Elite Dance Beast use the bathroom before class to avoid missing valuable class instruction.
Elite Dance Beast do not have more than two unexcused absences within one dance season, because they understand becoming an exceptional dancer requires consistent practice.
Elite Dance Beast show respect for themselves, coaches, parents, and peers.
Elite Dance Beast do not participate in bullying, aggressive behavior towards others, use of foul language, theft, or gossip.
Elite Dance Beast contribute to our sense of belongingness and connectedness within our dance community by being respectful, friendly, and supportive to all the members in our
dance community.
Elite dancers believe our dance studio is their “home away from home†and therefore make sure our dances spaces are clean and intact. Elite dancers do not run in class, touch
mirrors, or throw objects during class.
Elite dancers do not leave class until they are dismissed.

Strive To Be An Elite Dance Beast Parent
Elite Dance Beast Parents ensure their child is prepared for dance training by making sure they use the restroom before class to avoid class disruptions.
Elite Dance Beast Parents make sure their child is committed and dedicated to our dance program by bringing them to class and picking them up on time.
Elite Dance Beast Parents bring their child to class consistently, make sure they have two or less unexcused absences per dance season, and understand excessive absences can
hinder their child’s ability to grow as a dancer.
Elite Dance Beast Parents understand that effective dance trainings should be free of distractions and pressure. Parents wait outside of dance class to provide children with the
space and comfort needed to focus on dance lessons.
Elite Dance Beast Parents stay informed by actively keeping up with updates, friendly reminders, registration deadlines, uniform requirements, and safety guidelines for classes and
events.
