Health and safety of our students, instructors and staff members is our top priority and hence we will be following all guidelines and protocols set by BC government and other related bodies. In consideration of being allowed to participate in Classes/events/video shoots of Spirit of Dance Academy, kindly certify that you are physically fit and able to participate in such activities without any risk to yourself as well as other and agree to follow all protocol including but not limited to wearing masks, cleaning of hands, maintaining social distance, no exchange of items, skipping classes if unwell. With the asymptomatic nature of COVID-19, Spirit of Dance Academy cannot guarantee that I or anyone else will not be infected with it. I understand and voluntarily accept and assume all the foregoing risks related to Covid-19 and accept sole responsibility for any injury, illness to myself and my family members. I also agree to inform of any symptoms to Spirit of Dance ASAP and will isolate as per government norms.

I/we realize that participation in dance classes and activities could result in some possible personal injury. Despite precautions being taken by the instructor, accidents and injuries may occur. By signing this release form, I/we (the dancer and parent/guardian) assume all risks related to the use of any and all spaces used by Spirit of Dance. I/we agree to release from responsibility Spirit of Dance, Niki Patel and the rental space provider including all teachers, dancers, staff members, and facilities used by both entities from any cause of action, claims, or demands now and in the future. I/we will not hold Spirit of Dance, Niki Patel and the rental space provider, liable for any personal injury including: scrapes, bruises, cuts, sprains, fractures, broken bones, concussions or death or any personal property damage/loss, which may occur on the premises before, during or after classes. Furthermore, I/we agree to obey the class and facility policies and take full responsibility for my/our behavior in addition to any damage I/we may cause to the facilities utilized by Spirit of Dance, Niki Patel and the rental space provider.

Tuition & Fees Policy and Agreement

1. Tuition & Fees Due Date:
Tuition and fees are due on the first day of each Term. This ensures timely processing and uninterrupted participation in our programs. Prompt payment is essential for maintaining your enrollment status.

2. Billing and Auto Bill:
We provide an easy and convenient billing process. Invoices are sent electronically to the email address on file. We offer an auto-bill option where your credit card on file will be automatically charged on the due date each month. This ensures you never miss a payment and avoid late fees.

3. Late Payment Policy:
If tuition and fees are not paid by the due date, your account will be considered overdue. We will send a reminder email, and the late payment policy will take effect. Maintaining up-to-date payments is crucial for your continued participation in our programs.

4. Grace Period:
We understand that sometimes circumstances arise that may prevent timely payment. Therefore, we offer a grace period of five (5) calendar days from the due date. During this period, you can make your payment without incurring any penalties.

5. Late Fee:
Payments made after the five-day grace period will incur a late fee of $25. This fee will be added to your outstanding balance and must be paid in addition to your regular tuition to bring your account up to date.

6. Unpaid Balance Policy:
If your account remains unpaid for more than 30 days, you will receive final notice. Failure to settle your account within the next 10 days may result in the suspension of participation in our programs. Reinstatement will only be considered upon full payment of the outstanding balance and any applicable late fees.


8. Discounts (if applicable):
We offer various discounts which may include early payment discounts, or seasonal promotions. Specific details and eligibility criteria for these discounts will be communicated through our official channels and must be applied for during the specified periods.

9. Payment Methods Accepted and Offered:
We accept payments exclusively via credit card. This includes all major credit cards such as Visa, MasterCard,, and Discover. Our auto-bill feature ensures a hassle-free payment experience, helping you avoid any late fees.

Agreement:
By enrolling in our programs, you agree to comply with the terms and conditions outlined in this Tuition & Fees Policy and Agreement. Adherence to these policies ensures a smooth and efficient operation, allowing us to provide the best possible experience for all participants.

Student Discipline: Discipline is a must to learn any art form & hence we believe in cultivating the same in our students. Regularity & punctuality are expected from students for each class to smooth up learning process. Students are required to have fun but no running or horseplay in the class space! Although our class spaces are ideal for children to play in, we want to stay accident free! Food and/or chewing gum are NOT allowed in class. Water is allowed. Our instructor will ensure class discipline.

Student Dressing – All students must be dressed in comfortable danceable attire for class. Most preferable will be a loose t-shirt and black pants. Hair must be tied back in a ponytail away from the face and no distracting accessories. Please be ready on time for class. - Hair, clothing, and shoes (for workout class) are on and ready before class begins.

Parent Observation – Parents are only allowed to watch the class and interact with the instructor for the last 10 minutes of instruction. The presence of parents often makes children lose focus and detracts attention from the teacher. Kindly do not arrive earlier than this time period.

Dance Performances and costumes: We strongly encourage student performances may it be in a small gathering or stage shows as well as video presentations for virtual events and social media platforms. A performance motivates participants, removes their stage fear as well as takes them towards being a performer not just a dancer. We thrive hard to bring as many performance opportunities for our rising stars and also request parents to bring to our notice such opportunities & co-operate with preparations related to it. Costumes are usually provided for performances at Spirit of Dance’s events for no extra charge; however there can be times when specialized costumes/props are needed and parents are expect to help us with it. Also, there will be a refundable damage deposit ensuring timely and unaltered return of the costumes.

Camera/Video –Videography by parents & guests will not be allowed in the class. As per the need the instructor will videotape the students & provide the same to the parents via unlisted link for further assistance in practice at home.
Photography/Videography at non-SoDA events will be based on the event rules. If allowed, we request a fair use of those recordings on social media platforms with courtesy/tag to Spirit of Dance Academy.

Missed and Cancelled Classes – You will be notified of a cancelled class via message, email and/or phone. Classes cancelled by the teacher or due to inclement weather will be made up at a date convenient to both the teacher and majority of the students. There will be no individualized make-up classes.
