McLaughlin Studios requires written 30 day notice to discontinue lessons and classes for the following month. Notice must be given to office staff, not the teacher. A student may be dismissed for: repeated failure to attend lessons, behavior or attitude problems, or nonpayment of tuition. Once withdrawal notice has been given, the student is no longer eligible to receive makeup lessons, enrichment classes, or recitals.
Makeup lessons will be limited to 2 per semester and cannot be carried over into the next semester. No refunds are given for missed lessons. There are no makeup lessons for group music or dance classes. 24-hour notice must be given to McLaughlin Studios office staff to receive makeup lessons. Lessons cancelled by the teacher will always be promptly made up or taught by a substitute. If lessons must be cancelled due to extreme weather or events beyond our control, such as power outages, the missed lessons will be rescheduled within the coming month.
