By agreeing to this you are waiving important legal rights. Please read carefully. This agreement must be completed in full before you can participate in any activities with Dance Directions.

Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims, and Indemnity Agreement:

I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, next of kin, executors, administrators, representatives and assigns, hereby forever waive all claims and release, discharge and hold harmless Dance Directions and their representatives and agents including, without limitation, employees, and all other entities associated or involved in the organization or staging of events or any other activities, including, but not limited to, volunteers, third party vendors, all venues in which activities or segments of activities are held, and the members, officers, directors, employees, representatives, assigns, affiliates, and agents of any of the above (collectively, the "Releases" ); for any and all losses, costs, causes of action, claims or damages, including any claim for damages for personal injury to my person or personal property damage howsoever caused, arising out of or in connection with my taking part in dance, yoga or other related activities, notwithstanding that the same may have been contributed to or occasioned by, without limitation, the negligence, breach of contract or breach of any statutory or other duty of care of Dance Directions, or any of the Releases.

I agree not to sue any of the persons or entities mentioned above for any of the claims or liabilities that I have waived, released or discharged herein; and I indemnify and hold harmless Dance Directions and the Releases from and against any and all losses, claims, suits, actions, damages or liabilities (including without limitation, legal fees and disbursements) assessed against them as a result of or in connection with my actions during, and in connection with, dance, yoga or other related activities with Dance Directions.

Assumption of Risk:

I acknowledge that I am aware of the possible risks, dangers and hazards associated with participating in dance, yoga and other related activities, including the possible risk of severe or fatal injury and property loss. I hereby assume these risks which include, but are not limited to: the possibility of physical injury to myself and others such as muscle strain, broken bones, concussion, soft tissue damage, infectious diseases, and cardiac arrest.

I certify that I have not been advised against participating in dance, yoga or other related activities by a qualified health professional. I acknowledge that Dance Directions, permitting me to participate in dance, yoga and other related activities, accepts my statements on this release waiver.

Camps:

Parents/guardians are responsible for their child's snack and water for both half day and full day camps
Cancelation: 30 days or more notice a full refund less $50 administration fee will be issued. 29-16 days notice a 50% refund will be issued. 15 days or less notice no refund will be issued
Payment is due upon registration. Camp spots are secured after payment has been received
Drop off should be no more than 15 minutes prior to camp start time.
Pick up should be no later than 15 minutes after camp end time. Late pick up will result in a $10 fee automatically added to your studio account.

I hereby affirm that I am eighteen (18) years of age or older, I have read this document, and I understand its contents. I acknowledge that I am signing this waiver voluntarily and that if I am under the age of eighteen (18) I require parental consent.

I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTOOD THIS AGREEMENT AND I AM AWARE THAT BY SIGNING THIS AGREEMENT OR BY REGISTERING ONLINE I AM WAIVING CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO SUE, WHICH I, OR MY HEIRS, NEXT OF KIN, EXECUTORS, ADMINISTRATORS AND ASSIGNEES, MAY HAVE AGAINST THE ORGANIZERS AND RELEASES.

Yearly program - Monthly tuition fees are due on September 9th and the 1st of each month from October to June. Auto payment is requested for any new accounts. For any account past due more than sixty (60) days, the student(s) will be suspended from class participation until the account arrears is settled. Accounts ninety (90) or more days past due may be sent to a collection agency and the entire remaining tuition balance will become immediately due and payable.

One month's notice emailed to info@dancedirectoins.ca is required to withdraw from classes. Word of mouth or a student’s absence is not considered notification. All outstanding fees, including costumes, competitions, private lessons etc. must be paid prior to withdrawal. Registration, costumes, competition and recital fees are non refundable.

Sessional Programs - Tuition is due upon registration. A minimum of 7 days notice prior to the class start date is required for withdrawal. Less than 7 days notice will result in an account credit that will expire at the end of the current season. notice emailed to info@dancedirections.ca is required to withdraw from classes. Word of mouth or a student’s absence is not considered notification.

Less than 48 hours notice will result in an account credit that will expire at the end of the current season. Notice emailed to info@dancedirections.ca is required to withdraw from classes. I understand that Dance Directions does not give credit and/or refunds for class(es) missed due to holiday, vacation, illness, weather, pandemics etc. By registering I understand Dance Directions' payment policies and agree.

MEDIA RELEASE: I understand that my child's photo may be taken and shared and that if I wish that my child's photo not be taken I must opt out of this by going to the waivers page in my parent portal to opt out.
