Important Dates:
Fall classes will begin the week of August 12th, 2024.
Spring Recital: 5/17/25

Dress Code:
Dress code will be enforced - adhering to the dress code shows respect for the art of dance, teachers, and dancers themselves.
Please make sure all attire is labeled.
Hair must be pulled back away from the face and off the neck in a secure ponytail, braid, or bun. All dancers must have hair pulled up in a bun for ballet class.
No jewelry - small studs are acceptable.
No gum.

Attendance:
Consistent attendance is a requirement for student success. Parents/Guardians are responsible for communicating absences to studio staff directly. Dress rehearsals for showcases are mandatory.

Dancer Conduct:
Be prompt. Please arrive early, use the restroom before class, and dress appropriately for class. Respect yourself, other dancers, dance instructors, and the staff at Studio X.
No cellphone use in the dance studios.
- Do not talk during class - unless you're asking a question. Have a positive attitude. Do not play on the barres.
- If injured, notify the dance instructor prior to class.
- If you must leave early, notify the dance instructor prior to class.
-Most of all, take pride in your studio - keep it clean, throw away all trash.
No gossip. No name-calling. No inappropriate
language/conversations.
No food/drinks (other than water) allowed in the studios.

Parent Conduct:
We pride ourselves on creating a safe/positive space for our dancers. If there is an issue or disagreement, please reach out to us via email, phone, or in person to resolve the matter. Gossip, inappropriate language/conversations, name-calling will not be tolerated.
Please pick up your dancer promptly at the end of class - dancers under the age of 13 must be picked up inside the building.
Tuition is due by the 5th of the month - a 10% late fee will be added on the 6th.

***Tuition is due by the 5th of each month. There is a 10% discount for siblings.

Tuition Policy:
Tuition is due by the 1st of each month. A 10% late fee will be added on the 6th of each month if tuition is not paid by the 5th.
Credit cards will be accepted - will add a 3% fee.
There is a $35 returned check fee.
Dancers with an outstanding balance after 30 days from the original due date will unfortunately not be able to continue classes.
Balance must be paid in full in order for any dancer to perform in the end of year recital.
Tuition is paid from August - May for recreational dancers and from August - May for company dancers.
Recital fee is $100 per family and is due by 3/1/25 or upon registration if you register after that point.
Costume fee is $85 per class for recreational dancers (max of 4) and will be due by 2/15/25.

Cancellation Policy
If classes are canceled due to unforeseen circumstances by Studio X staff, you will be contacted immediately via phone/email by Studio X and classes will be made up ASAP.
Studio X will follow the Gwinnett County Public School system for inclement weather closings and breaks. No refund will be given for missed classes, holidays, school closings, or withdrawals. Costume/recital fees are non-refundable.
If a child withdraws from class after the monthly tuition and/or costume deposit/recital fee/balance are paid - no refunds will be given.

Drop Out Policy:
A 30 day written notice (given to Haley Wishon, Calin Manning, Jennifer Manning, or Brooke Hicks) is required to withdraw from classes. This is for the best interest of the other dancers at the studio in the event that choreography would need to be changed. If written notice is not given, the dancers account will remain open and charged each month.

Liability Waiver and Acknowledgment of Risk
Studio X Elite Dance Company, LLC, a Georgia limited liability company will make all efforts to help our
students to avoid injury. However, it is important that you understand and agree that in participating in any
dance class, workshop, rehearsal or performance, there is a possibility of physical injury.

SIGNATURE AND MUST BE COMPLETED BEFORE YOUR FIRST CLASS
I hereby acknowledge and agree to be bound by all the terms set forth herein in this Liability Waiver and
Acknowledgement of Risk.
I voluntarily agree to assume all risks and responsibility for any injury or accident, which might occur to
me or my child during any of Studio X Elite Dance Company, LLC’s classes, rehearsals, performances, or
activities.
I also exempt, release, and indemnify Studio X Elite Dance Company, LLC, its owners, agents,
volunteers, assistants, employees, guest artists, faculty members, and/or students from any and all
liability claims, demands, or causes of action whatsoever from any damage, loss, injury, or death to me,
my children, or property which may arise out of or in connection with participation in any classes or
activities conducted by Studio X Elite Dance Company, LLC.
I further voluntarily agree to waive my rights and that of my heirs and assigns to hold Studio X Elite Dance
Company, LLC, its owners, agents, volunteers, assistants, employees, guest artists, faculty members,
and/or students liable for such damage, loss, injury, or death.
I understand that I should be aware of my physical limitations and agree not to exceed them. If I am
signing this waiver for my children, I certify that I am the parent or legal guardian and have the right to
waive these rights.
I further hereby voluntarily agree that, for no additional consideration, Studio X Elite Dance Company,
LLC shall have the right to use photographs/videos of me (or my child) for publicity purposes.
My signature is proof of my intention to execute a complete and unconditional waiver of all liability, either
on behalf of my minor child or on my own behalf, to the fullest extent of the law.
