My student chooses to participate in classes, rehearsals, camps, performances, competitions, and other activities at Emilee's Dance Factory LLC of their own free will and I certify that they are in proper physical condition to take part in such activities.

If my student or I have questions about whether an activity is suitable for my student to pursue, I will consult their health care provider in making that decision. If my student has any known physical vulnerabilities, conditions, or injuries, my student and I agree to discuss them with the studio director before participating.

By signing this waiver, my student and I release Emilee's Dance Factory LLC and its directors, owners, teachers, staff, students, and volunteers from any liability or claim that my student, myself, or our representatives may have against Emilee's Dance Factory LLC with respect to any bodily injury, personal injury, illness, death, or property loss or damage that may result from my student's participation at Emilee's Dance Factory LLC.

My student and I voluntarily release and forever discharge and hold harmless Emilee's Dance Factory LLC from any and all claims or demands for damages, loss of services, costs and expenses, injuries, attorney fees, and any other call for reparation from any and all injury to me, my student, or my property arising in any way from participation in classes, rehearsals, camps, performances, competitions, the use of equipment or facilities, and any activities associated with Emilee's Dance Factory LLC.

Student Absences:

- If a student's lack of attendance in class becomes a hinderance to the success of the rest of the group, the teacher reserves the right to remove them from the class or from performances at any time.
- Competition team members are expected to adhere to the absence policy agreed to at the beginning of each new season.

Social Media and Online Presence:

- Any inappropriate or slanderous remarks about our studio on any social media site will be cause for immediate dismissal from the studio.
- Posting pictures/videos of classes, performances, events, etc. is common practice for advertising needs. If you do not want any photos or videos posted of your dancer on our studio Facebook and/or Instagram, fill out the photo opt-out form on our Dance Studio-Pro site or email dancefactoryblm5678@gmail.com at any time.

Lost and Found:

- It is good practice to mark all dance items (shoes, bags, costumes, etc.) with your dancer's name. We will make an effort to locate and return lost items, but we cannot be responsible for any items that you or your dancer bring into the studio or any events/performances/competitions our studio is participating in.

Studio Closures:

- In the event of weather that makes it unsafe for studio members to get to class, we reserve the right to cancel classes or end early. We will make every effort to give as much advanced notice as possible. If you have concerns about the safety/feasibility of getting to class due to weather, please contact us!
- We reserve the right to cancel classes, events, performances, and rehearsals for any reason and will make every effort to give as much advanced notice as possible.

Studio and Class Etiquette:

- No food or drink in the dance room, besides water.
- Any food or drink brought into the studio needs to be properly disposed of. Any messes made must be cleaned up.
- Cell phones cannot be brought into the dance room unless given explicit permission.
- Dancers are expected to wear appropriate dance clothes and shoes for class.
- Unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated.
- Students and parents will conduct themselves in an appropriate manner while at the studio and at all performances, events, and competitions in which our studio is being represented. Proper respect for instructors, dancers, and other parents is expected of all students, parents/guardians, and siblings.
- All siblings/children brought into the studio during class must be supervised and kept outside of the dance room.
- Any parent/guardian, student, or guest who disrupts class or approaches a teacher, another student, parent, or guest with the intent to cause dissent or contravene the policies and procedures of Emilee's Dance Factory LLC can be dismissed by the teacher.
- Students are expected to bring a positive attitude, sportsmanlike conduct, a willingness to learn, their full attention, and their best effort to every class and performance!

All fees and tuition charged are non-refundable.

Parents should register their dancers in classes that are appropriate for their age and ability level. If there are any questions about class placement, email dancefactoryblm5678@gmail.com. Teachers reserve the right to deny registration to a certain class based on age, ability, experience, and maturity level.
