You must be over 18 years of age to register for an account.

I, the parent or legal guardian of the registrant, a minor, agree that I and the registrant will abide by the rules and regulations of Miss Marion's School of Dance and associated personnel. Recognizing the possibility of physical injury associated with tumbling, gymnastics and dance, in accepting this registrant for its programs and activities. I hereby release, discharge and/or otherwise indemnify Miss Marion's School of Dance, its affiliated organizations and sponsors, their employees and associated personnel, including the owners of fields and facilities utilized for the programs, against any claim by or on the behalf of the registrant as a result of the registrants participation in the programs and/or being transported to or from the same, which transportation I authorize.

I grant permission for Miss Marion's School of Dance the right to use any photos of the classes or events that may contain my child, for the purpose of placing them on any media sources, including our website. Registering your child as a student indicates that you give consent, in advance, without expectation of compensation in any form. I understand Miss Marion's School of Dance will take measures to protect the privacy of my child and not use names, addresses, phone numbers, or any personal information.

DROP OFF & PICK UP:
Please arrive 5 minutes prior to your class to allow us to properly screen your child before entering the studio. At the end of class, your child will be waiting at the door, supervised by a studio employee. You can pick them up there.

MAKE UP CLASSES:
There are no deductions for missed classes. If your child must be absent due to illness, vacation, etc., he/she may make up class within a month. Ask the secretary (587-8557) for the correct make-up day and time.

SNOW DAYS: If weather is hazardous, we will not have class (if possible, there will be a message on the answering machine, on social media, on your parent portal and/or announced on WSPA-Channel 7). Classes will be scheduled at a later date. We usually mirror the school districts and their closing decisions; however, if the weather clears early, we may still hold class. We will make any announcements on social media.

PARENT OBSERVATION will be held during a week in December before the Christmas holiday. You will be notified regarding the schedule for your child's observation day.

We regularly photograph and video our classes, and any of these materials could appear on social media. Enrollment in our classes indicates your acceptance of this; if you have a privacy or safety concern regarding your child appearing on social media, please talk to us at the beginning of the year.

Social media is very important to our studio. Any time you are sharing photos on FaceBook or Instagram, we strongly encourage your to tag Miss Marion's to allow others to see our wonderful studio dance family.

DRESS:
Leotards and tights to all classes except Hip-Hop. Ballet requires specific attire including pink tights, leotards that are color-coded to your child's level, ballet shoes and hair neatly in a bun. These materials can be purchased at the Miss Marion's store. **If the student fails to follow the dress regulations, they will not be admitted to class.**

Students are required to be on time and to attend class regularly. If you must miss class due to illness, please notify the secretary or let us know through your parent portal. If you are late for class, do not interrupt with an explanation; just enter quietly. Cell phone use is prohibited during class; if your child wants to take pictures or videos with their smart phone, they should ask the teacher for permission beforehand.

Students who disrupt class will be sent out and parents will be notified.

Food and drinks are NOT allowed in classrooms or in the carpeted area of the studio.

***For 2 weeks prior to any competition, classes are mandatory for those competing.
***CYDT Practice prior to competition is mandatory, no exceptions. If you do not attend the classes, you will be pulled from the routine.

WITHDRAWAL FROM CLASS
If you decide to discontinue your child's dance class before the end of the month or semester, please inform the office.

Tuition is due by the 10th of each month; payable in cash, check, debit, credit or through your parent portal. There is a convenience fee for paying by card in the parent portal and at the studio. If payment is not received by the 10th of the month, there will be a $20.00 late fee added. This is strictly enforced. If tuition is not brought current by the following month, the student will not be allowed to participate in class.

Registration, Costume, and recital fees are non-refundable. Costume fees of $100.00 per routine are due by September 22nd. Tights are included with costume fee for Pre-I, II, & III. Competition teams - costume fees may slightly increase due to rhinestones. We will try to keep price as close to $100 as possible.

Late Fees of $20.00 per costume will be applied 2 weeks after due date.

Recital Fee costs $75.00 and is due by January 10th. This year's fee will include a complimentary video of the performance.

Competition and Convention fees (if applicable to you) can only be paid by CASH or Check.
