In the parent portal, it will look like your only option for payment is through the portal. This is not true. You can pay with no additional fees by placing cash or check in the NUFSC drop box, in the North Rink at the Civic Center or mailing a check to NUFSC, PO Box 2, New Ulm, MN 56073. Please indicate what the payment is for so your account is correctly credited.

NUFSC uses a volunteer program based on points in order to help defray the cost of our expenditures. FIRST YEAR families are EXEMPT. Except, the Ice Show will have volunteer hours for first year families if they participate in the Ice Show.

This year’s points requirements for all skaters are during the Fall Festival Competition (weekend before Thanksgiving)
- First Year Families: no requirement
- Summer group lessons: no requirement
- Families with skaters not competing: 3 points
- Families with skater(s) competing: 7 points
- Competing skaters, 12 years and up: 2 points

There is no buy out option for this. If your family can’t fulfill this requirement, you will need to talk with the Competition and Ice Show Directors about other options. Points that are not fulfilled will be charged at $35/point.
