For the safety and comfort of our students, proper dance attire and hair styles are required for regular classes. No jewelry may be worn in children’s classes. Warm-ups and ballet skirts are allowed at the discretion of the instructor.

See your students class level for the required leotard color. Any style leotard within the required color is allowed.

Please, talk to us if you are unable to locate the proper dance attire for your class. We do have some on hand. For purchasing attire, we highly recommend Lines Vermont in Williston, which is a local dance wear boutique owned and run by a dancer; and the service is excellent.

Attendance: Attendance is required at all scheduled rehearsals and classes. There will be no refunds for missed classes. Students may make up missed classes within 30 days. Make-up classes may not be carried over to the next semester. Students may make up in their level or the level below their regular level or try a class of a different genre with teachers' permission. If students miss 5 or more classes in one semester, the student's level may be reevaluated.

Cancellations: For information regarding class cancellations, visit the home page of our website and social media. Messages will also be sent out via our DSP portal. Classes may be held on teacher in-service days and but not most state/national holidays. Ballet Wolcott reserves the right to cancel a class or workshop due to low enrollment. Eight or more paying students must be enrolled in a class in order for it to run. Some core classes may continue to run or be combined with another class.

Parking: Ballet Wolcott parking is in the large parking lot to the right of the post office. For the safety of your dancer, Dancers under the age of 10 are to be escorted in and out of the building.

Arriving and Leaving Your Class: When arriving and leaving your/your child’s class, please be aware that another class may be in session and show them the respect that you would have them show you/your child. Parents must promptly pick up their children when classes and rehearsals have ended.

To allow preparation before class, students should arrive 15 minutes before class begins. Students arriving more than 15 minutes late to class may be asked to observe class.

Class Placement: Students are continually evaluated to determine their proper class placement. Class level is determined
by class attendance, a student’s individual progression, attitude, and ability to focus, among other criteria. Students normally spend two to three years in one level. New students should contact the office to schedule a placement class.

Injury and Medical Conditions: Parents/Guardians and dancers must make any injuries and medical conditions known to the instructor of the class. If your child is not feeling well or is experiencing cold symptoms, please keep them home and inform and email admin@balletwolcott.com or via your DSP portal. Prolonged injuries and refunds or make up classes will be handled on an individual basis AFTER a doctor's note is provided

Social Media: No videos or photos may be taken or posted on social media without written consent from the participants and administration.

I am aware that ballet and other forms of dance may cause physical stress or injury
to the body, and on behalf of myself and my child, I assume the risk and agree not to hold Ballet Wolcott and any of its instructors or staff liable for any injuries and Ballet Wolcott and its staff will not be held responsible for any damaged or lost personal property in any way.

There is a non-refundable registration fee of $10 per student or $20 per family. This will hold your place in class(es) for the session. This charge is separate and is not applied toward tuition.

Unpaid tuition may result in termination of classes until the past due tuition bill is paid in full or acceptable payment arrangements have been made.

Please note that enrollment for Ballet Wolcott's classes is for the length of the semester. There are no refunds given on tuition. If you need to miss a class, please notify the office and a make-up class will be determined.

While we request that a dancer commit to the full semester, we understand that life changes and we will work with families on an individual basis. If you must drop classes, we require a 30-day written notice and a payment of 30% of the remaining semester tuition balance for any dropped classes remaining after the 30 days are up will be required.

Any credit card that is unable to be processed, therefore delaying payment will be charged a $25.00 fee. An initial late fee of $25.00 will be added if tuition not paid on time and additional late fees will be added with each statement.

You agree that Ballet Wolcott, Inc. may use student photos and videos for publication, advertising, marketing, fund-raising, social media and potential other uses at Ballet Wolcott's discretion.
