Class placement

Class placement is based on age by September 1st.

While we use age as a guideline, please keep in mind that every student progresses at a different pace. Our instructors will know when it is the right time for your child to advance.

Progression for younger students:
3 yr old dance (1 year) --> 4 yr old dance (1 year) --> Children's Dance / Tiny Tap (2 years for 5 & 6 year olds) --> Ballet/Jazz / Beginning Tap (2 years for 7 & 8 year olds) --> Ballet I / Jazz I / Tap I (2 years for 9 & 10 year olds) --> After this time is when students will spend 1-3 years in a level based on teacher recommendations.

Registration

Registration is $25 per FAMILY and due at the time of registration. We cannot hold your place in a class without the registration fee. Registration fees can only be paid using this portal.

Tuition Policy

All classes are $50 per month for the 2024-2025 dance season. Discounts are given for 2nd classes, 1/2 hour classes, and/or additional family members with the same home address.

Studio Unlimited Classes Clause:
The Dance Connection has prided itself on being an affordable, family-oriented studio. With that in mind, we have established an unlimited class tuition maximum.
If there is only 1 dancer enroll, the unlimited class tuition maximum is $175. However, many families have multiple dancers. If this is your situation, the unlimited class family tuition maximum is $200.

Tuition is based on an average of 3.5 classes per month scheduled over a 9 month period. We do NOT offer refunds or credits for missed classes.

Tuition is due the first week of classes each month. Late fees are $5 PER FAMILY per month and automatically added to your account if tuition is not paid by the end of the month.

Marketing Opt-In
