YNI Dance Ltd is not liable for personal injury or any loss or damage of personal property, whilst on the premises. YNI Dance will aim to provide a safe learning environment to reduce risk of injury. It should be recognised by all students, parents/guardians that dance by its very nature carries a risk of injury or accident. YNI Dance provides qualified and/or experienced dance teachers, who actively promote safe dance practice. This being the case, it should be realised that injuries do occur from time to time and students must accept this element of risk. It is the student’s parents/guardians responsibility to notify their teacher in the event of injury/medical conditions or disabilities prior to class. At the commencement of each class, it is the student’s or students/parents or guardians responsibility to inform their teacher of any injury which is being treated or may be of concern. All dancers are required to have the correct shoes for class. According to ACC, you are required to have suitable footwear for dancing at all times while in the studio. We will not be liable for any injuries caused, due to the lack of inappropriate footwear.
YNI Dance takes all reasonable steps to ensure that contact details provided by you remain confidential at all times. Any contact details you provide to register for programmes, buy costumes, mercahdise or tickets for performances are stored on our databases. This information is used to contact you in connection with transactions you enter into with us or to send you information about training, news and events relating to YNI Dance. We do not share your personal information with others unless it is necessary for the purpose for which it is provided or is required by law. To request a copy of the details we hold about you or to update or remove your details from a database please email accounts@ynidance.nz The Office of the Privacy Commissioner provides further details of the New Zealand Privacy Act and how it protects personal information in New Zealand. Our online payment system has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information entered. The secure server software is the industry standard for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read as the information travels over the Internet. We do not keep a record of your credit card details.
