General Terms
Enrolment is presumed for the entirety of 2024, I understand that fees will continue to be charged until PARKES DANCE CO is notified in writing of withdrawal from classes.
To withdraw from a class, one weeks notice from scheduled class day must be provided in writing to ADMIN@PARKESDANCECO.COM.AU . Normal class fees will be charged if notice given is less than one week.
All classes are invoiced and payable by Direct Debit on a weekly basis. All clients will be registered as a Direct Debit customer and must enter payment details IN DANCE STUDIO PRO APP by the end of Week 2 unless payment is made in advance on account.
Non-attendance: Students that are absent from classes, rehearsals or performances due to illness or any other reasons must notify the studio of their nonattendance. Fees remain payable for non-attendance to class/classes. If a student ceases classes, they must inform the studio immediately, as fees remain payable until the studio is notified of cessation of enrolment.
If you wish to pay for the term upfront, payment can be made in advance on your account via the Parent Portal, Cash, EFTPOS, Credit Card at the Studio or via Bank Transfer. THIS WILL ACT AS A PRE-PAYMENT THAT YOUR WEEKLY FEES WILL DEDUCT FROM.
I understand that any payments made via [Direct debit] incur a small fee per transaction charged by the payment provider. Fees paid via Bank Account on the Parent Portal, in person at the studio or over the phone do not incur any transaction fees.
A REGISTRATION FEE WILL BE CHARGED AT THE BEGINNING OF ENROLMENT OF $35 PER STUDENT, $70 PER FAMILY (IF MORE THAN ONE STUDENT FROM FAMILY). THIS IS NON-REFUNDABLE.
A COSTUME FEE FOR EOY CONCERT WILL BE SPLIT INTO 2 SEPARATE $40 CHARGES IN WEEK 2 OF TERM 2 AND TERM 3. THIS IS NON-REFUNDABLE.
A PERFORMERS FEE $60 WILL BE CHARGED IN WEEK 2 OF TERM 4, THIS COVERS THE CONCERT T-SHIRT, MEDAL, CONCERT VIDEO AND THE CONCERT PHOTOS FROM THE STUDENTS CLASS PERFORMANCE/S. THIS IS NON REFUNDABLE.
Students will not be able to participate in classes if payment details are not on file or payment in advance is not received by the end of Week 2, or a direct debit payment fails in 2 consecutive weeks.
Students will not be able to participate in any PARKES DANCE CO events if account is not up to date and there are any outstanding amounts owed on account.
PARKES DANCE CO reserves the right to pass any outstanding fees onto a Debt Collection Agency, this will incur a 20% surcharge on the balance of the account.
Holidays: Classes will not be held on Good Friday, Easter Saturday, Easter Sunday, Easter Monday, ANZAC Day, Queens Birthday or the Tuesday afternoon of the Parkes Show. These classes will not be billed to your account, as classes will not be held on these days. Dance will be held on all other public holidays during the Dance Terms.
Uniform: All enrolled dancers are required to wear their specific class/style hair, uniform and shoes to class. Parkes Dance Co’s dance shop stocks all uniform and shoe requirements. Parkes Dance Co reserves the right to not allow a student to participate in a class if their attire or hair is inappropriate or dangerous for the class.
The movement of children from parental supervision to Parkes Dance Co staff supervision is the most vulnerable and requires the utmost care by all parties. No child should be left without the parent being satisfied that their child is in class and under the care of Parkes Dance Co staff nor should any child be encouraged to leave care without supervision. No students under the age of 16 are allowed to go outside or leave the facility without a parent or guardian unless written permission is given. Students are encouraged to wait inside with building with the reception staff or teaching staff until they are picked up. Parkes Dance Co is not liable or responsible for children if they are not inside the premises. We bear no responsibility or liability for how children get to and from the studio.
Direct Debit Terms
As a DIRECT DEBIT customer with PARKES DANCE CO , through THE DANCE STUDIO PRO, I agree that:
I am responsible for entering and updating when necessary my bank account and/or credit card details via DIRECT DEBIT .
I will nominate a default payment method (if more than one payment method is entered PARKES DANCE CO, through their payment provider has the authority to debit my account or credit card the full balance owing on my Tuition Fees in my DANCE STUDIO PRO account on the THURSDAY of each week.

I will pay the associated fee of [INSERT SURCHARGE] per transaction if using [INSERT PAYMENT METHOD] as the payment method for FEES.
A failed payment fee of [INSERT AMOUNT] will be added to my [STUDIO NAME] account if my direct debit payment fails.
Where a direct debit payment fails in 2 consecutive weeks, students will not be able to participate in classes and any PARKES DANCE CO events until all outstanding amounts are paid in full.
Refunds: Term Fees – a 50% refund will be granted prior to Week 4 of term. Please note: fees are not refundable after week 4. Shoe, stocking and uniform orders: once paid, these payments are non refundable. When full payment is made of a product, the payer is entitled to the product bought, if ceasing enrolment.
ASSUMPTION OF RISK / MEDICAL EMERGENCIES
I hereby absolve PARKES DANCE CO from any liability in the event of any injury to my child. I give PARKES DANCE CO permission to seek medical attention at the time of accident or serious illness.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY
I give permission for my child to be photographed and / or videoed whilst participating in PARKES DANCE CO activities and I consent to these photos / videos being used for publicity purposes.
I will not hold PARKES DANCE C0 liable for any loss of property.
TRIAL CLASSES
I understand that trial classes are under PARKES DANCE CO "love it or it's free guarantee". This means that if my child trials a class/es and they don't love the class when they try it I won't be charged for the class, however, for any classes that my child does enrol in I will be charged for the trial class week as the first week.
