Registration Fee
• A Full Season (August – May/June) fee $50.00 per student is due at registration with the first month's tuition.
• Summer Session $25.00 (June & July)
• Adults $25.00
Tuition and Late Fees
• All accounts are required to have a valid credit/debit card on file. If you do not want your card to be charged, you must come in before the
last day of the month to avoid next month's charges on your card.
• If card is declined a $25.00 declined card fee will be applied to account, the following day.
• Accounts must be paid in full the first (1st) day of the month. A $15.00 late fee is applied to any account not paid by the 2nd day of the
month.
• A $35.00 fee will be applied to account with a returned check. Late fees will be applied to any account with a returned check.
• Dancers cannot attend class when accounts are 35 or more days overdue. If suspended, you are still responsible for any balance until paid and tuition will continue to be billed.
• A full month's tuition is due each month no matter how many lessons are received. There are NO deductions or refund for absent
lessons. Dress rehearsals, Picture days, Recital & Holiday show days, each count as a lesson. We only pro-rate the first month of
enrollment. We DO NOT pro-rate the month of withdrawal. Dancers are encouraged to finish out the month.
• Dancers with accounts not paid in FULL at least 15 days before our end of the year recital CANNOT perform in the show. Final payment
for May tuition and all other fees due to the studio are due 15 days before our Spring Recital.
Please note: Your account will continue to be charged until appropriate withdrawal forms are submitted to the front desk. Withdrawal forms can be emailed to you if requested in writing or you can find the form on our website.

• All contact information must remain current on file. Please log into the Parent Portal or contact the office to update your contact
information.
• ALL accounts must have a valid email address on file.
Costumes and Deposits (For Fall Students enrolled August 1st to February 1st)
• Recital costumes cost between $85.00 - $135.00 per dance. Costume Deposits will automatically be charged on the studio due dates for
each recreational class chosen for our Spring Recital.
• A minimum deposit of $30.00 per costume, per student is due September 15th.
• A 2nd costume deposit of $30.00 per costume, per student is due October 15th in classes: Combo Ages 5-7, Combo Ages 6-9, Classes
for Ages 10 & up, Russian Ballet, and Company classes.
• A 3rd costume deposit of $30.00 per costume, per dancer will be due January 15th.
• ALL Costume balances are due February 15th. A $12.00 late fee per student, per costume will apply on Feb. 25th.
• If a dancer registers after September 1st, you will need to see the office for the Costume Deposit Payment Schedule. You have 15 days
after registration to opt out of performing in the Spring Recital. Please see the office for details.
• Spring students are unable to purchase costumes for the end of year Recital. Performance opportunity is available. Please see the office
for details.
• If a dancer withdrawal from dance after December 1st and has paid a costume deposit, the costume balance must be paid in full on the
day of withdrawing from our dance program. Arrangements to pick up costumes will be made when costumes arrive.
• Withdrawal forms will NOT be accepted after 3/31if your dancer is performing in our Spring Recital
• Dancers with accounts not paid in FULL at least 15 days before our end of the year recital CANNOT perform in the show. Tuition and all
other fees due to the studio are due 15 days before our Spring Recital. Please review the Recital Permission Slip, if performing in our
Spring Recital.
Please note: Costumes Rentals are only for Holiday Shows and Special Performances. Costumes cannot be refunded, exchanged, or cancelled after December 1st of current dance year.
Other expenses
• Recital Performance Fee - $50.00 per student due February 15th
• Holiday Performance Fee - $40.00 per student due November 15th
• Dance supplies - required dance apparel and shoes
Year-End Performance
A year-end performance is held in April - June. These performances are for those dance students wishing to participate but is NOT required. A performance fee of $40.00 for the Holiday Show and a performance fee of $50.00 for the Spring Recital will be due if your dancer wishes to perform. Please see the office if you wish to opt out of performing. Participants are required to pay for tuition until the end of the season (May 31st), regardless of when the recital is performed. Opt-out Forms are required by the studio deadline.

Tickets and Performances
Tickets are sold to our performances go on sale about 45 days before the show. Families with a ZERO ($0) balance will be able to purchase tickets FIRST. We have reserved seating only. Show tickets are $25, depending on where you are seated.
Please be advised: Credit cards on file will be charged daily for any account that has a remaining balance 15 days prior to the year-end performance.
Class Cancellation/Bad Weather
• If severe weather develops, contact the dance studio before coming to class.
• Weather-related cancellations will be on the Studio answering machine and Beaufort Academy of Dance Facebook Page.
• Class cancelled due to severe weather will NOT be rescheduled or made-up.
• After 10 days of closure ZOOM classes will be available until we can re-open.
• The dance studio will be closed for the same duration as Beaufort County School District.
State of Emergency / Pandemic / Government Shutdown
• Classes cancelled due to State of Emergency / Pandemic / Government Shutdown will NOT be rescheduled or made-up. After 10 days
ZOOM classes will be available until we re-open.
• ZOOM classes will continue up to and through the following month.
• Students CANNOT cancel enrollment until 30 days from the FIRST day of ZOOM classes beginning.
ZOOM Online Classes
• ZOOM online classes will be offered to any student uncomfortable coming into the studio for instruction at regular tuition price.
• In the event of a State of Emergency / Pandemic / Government Shutdown / Weather for our community, ZOOM classes will begin 10 days after the shutdown start date, and will continue for at least 30 additional days.
• I understand I am responsible for the ZOOM class fees and that I cannot withdrawal myself and/or my child from the ZOOM classes before 30 days from the start date of ZOOM classes.
Summer Camps
Payment is due when you reserve your summer camp. There are no refunds on registration fees if applied. There are no refunds for any missed camp days. There are no refunds for missed weeks due to illness, COVID, traveling/vacation or transportation to and from the studio. Summer Camps are extremely limited in size, and you are paying to reserve your spot in the class.
Schedule/Class Changes
We must have a minimum of 5/6 dancers in a class to keep the class open.
Dress Code and Shoes
We are a full-service dance studio; ALL dance supplies are available to purchase through Revolution Dancewear. Students are required to wear a studio dance uniform and shoes to dance class. We require specific styles and brands per age level of dance. Please label all your dance supplies and belongings. Please see the front desk to have your dancer sized.
Enter at Your Risk
We as a Studio promise to clean and sanitize, but understand you enter at your risk.
Mask and gloves are NOT mandatory, but you or your dancer may wear a mask and gloves for your own protection.
The following statement must be signed by the parent of the student mentioned above or the adult student themselves as proof that you have read and understood the policies and requirements of The Beaufort Dance Company, LLC (TBDC). The Beaufort Dance Company, LLC hereinafter (TBDC). I understand and agree to abide by the policies of TBDC as stated in the policies at a glance and handbook regarding registration, payment and cancellations, further waive and release Laura R. Dansky, The Beaufort Dance Company, LLC and all employees of The Beaufort Dance Company, LLC for any liabilities in connection with my child, myself or family member use of and / or taking lessons, rehearsals, performances, parades, conventions , competitions, workshops, traveling to and from the studio or appearances and any other activity that may occur. I agree that this contract will automatically be renewed each year when I pay the registration fee or first month’s tuition unless I choose not to register myself / my child for the next season of classes. I will be responsible for all tuition and fees as the year before and acknowledge that prices and policies may change from year to year. I accept the responsibility to receive and read the Policies-At-a-Glance every year to find out if there are any changes in the policy. I, the undersigned, further agree to pay all lawyer fees, collection, and agency fees for any legal action against me/my child or my account. I further agree to reimburse TBDC for any cost incurred including all legal fees for any claims brought against TBDC with the exception of gross negligence. I also give the instructor, staff of The Beaufort Dance Company, LLC, volunteers, and persons acting on behalf of The Beaufort Dance Company, LLC permission to seek medical attention for my child in my absence. In consideration of my minor child/ ward being allowed to participate in the program at The Beaufort Dance Company, LLC related events and activities, the undersigned agrees that such participant’s likeness may be photographed or videotaped and that such image may be published in an outlet used to promote or publicize the program. I understand that myself / my child enters the building and participates in classes at my / his or her own risk of injury and sickness. I understand that it is my decision to wear or not to wear mask, gloves, etc. when entering the building or participating in classes. I understand I must keep a current credit card on file and the studio will charge my credit card on the 1st of every month for tuition and the 15th of every month for other charges. I understand the registration fee is due at the time of registration and first month’s tuition is due as soon as classes are selected. I understand that costume deposits and costume balances cannot be cancelled or exchanged and are non-refundable after December 1st of current dance year. I understand that if my child quits after December 1st, of current dance year, I will pay the costumes in FULL. I understand my card will be charged every month until I complete and submit a withdrawal form to the office.
