Statement of Faith
Why do we have a Statement of Faith?
The Statement of Faith helps to clarify our key beliefs so that we can know that we are “on the same page†and that we can work in unity with one another.
Our goal is not to create division, but unity. We do not want to draw lines and create “us†and “them†anywhere in our studio. We want to glorify Jesus and not any particular church model or doctrine.
One purpose of the Statement of Faith is to communicate our desire to teach from a Christ-centered perspective.
Parents and students should understand that this is the perspective that will be incorporated in our dance classes and would need to agree the classroom wouldn't be the proper place to bring viewpoints in opposition to the Statement of Faith. We want to build each other up and we can do that by focusing on what we agree on, not where our differences lie.
