REGISTRATION FEES FOR
CURRENT DANCE FAMILIES (NON-REFUNDABLE)
$75 PER STUDENT (Auto-Charged on June 1st)
$95 PER FAMILY (Auto-Charged on June 1st)
The account holder will be given the opportunity to “opt-out” of auto-renewal for the following Full-Term Dance Year. After June 1st, all accounts with unpaid registrations will be inactivated. Registrations received after June 1st will be charged the “new student” rate of $195.

*Registration Fee: A non-refundable fee is due at the time of registration and must be paid in order to hold a student’s place in class. Once this fee is paid, it serves as your agreement to all studio policies.
ALL-INCLUSIVE TUITION
The Full-Term Session is taught over a period of 9 months (September – May) ending with a dance recital held between the last week of May (Memorial Day weekend) and the second week of June. 2023-2024 Recital dates are May 31st & June 1st.
All 9 months of tuition must be paid in order to receive included benefits. *15% sibling discount available.
WHAT’S INCLUDED?
Two FREE tickets to the annual dance recital OR the price equivalent in the form of a credit.
All recital costumes.
Recital T-shirt for each student on the account with name on the back.
Professional photo session (in costume(s)).
Digital files of all edited photos (including dance shot(s), head shot(s), and group shot(s)).
Digital video download of all recital performances.
MONTHLY AUTO-PAYMENT
All accounts are required to have a credit card on file. All accounts will be auto charged on the 1st of the month.
The first payment will be processed on September 1st and the last payment will be processed on May 1st.
Account holders will be automatically notified if the credit card is declined. You will have until the 10th of the month to pay your tuition and avoid a late fee. Payment is due in full no matter how many lessons are received in the month. There will be times when there are only 3 lessons in a month due to a holiday, there will be times when there are 5 lessons in a month due to the way the calendar falls.
We DO NOT PRO-RATE any monthly payments.
LATE FEES
A $15.00 late fee will be charged to all past due accounts after the 10th of the month.
CHECKS
Checks are not accepted.
REFUNDS
There are no refunds, credits, or deductions for holidays or missed classes. If a student is absent, or their class falls on a holiday in which the studio is closed, the full monthly fee must be paid. The student is permitted to make-up the missed lessons.
MAKEUP CLASSES
Parents must notify the office if you are interested in a make up class(es) for your dancer. Makeup classes may not always be in the same style in which the student missed. The teacher or staff will assign the best makeup class day/time for your student.
CANCELLATION
Should you decide to withdraw, your account will be cancelled as of the date the office is notified, regardless of attendance. If you have an outstanding balance on your account at the time of cancellation, your credit card will be charged the remaining balance. In addition, a withdrawal fee in the amount of $65 per class will be automatically charged to the credit card on file if a student is withdrawn from a class(es) AFTER December 1st. If a student withdraws prior to the end of the 9-month term, all included benefits will be VOID. All 9 months of tuition must be paid in order to receive included benefits.
DRESS CODE
Proper dance attire is expected of all students. CLICK HERE to view our dress code. Hair should be pulled away from the face and off of the neck. No jewelry (stud earrings only). It is recommended that you label all dance shoes and other personal belongings with your dancer’s name. The studio cannot be responsible for lost items.
SCHEDULE/CLASS PLACEMENT
Class placement is at the discretion of the teachers and studio directors. We ask that you please trust our expertise as we have the student’s best interest at heart. There is a minimum number of students required for each class.
Schedule is subject to change until December 1st.
TRIAL CLASSES
Trial classes are available for $10.00 per class. Must be paid prior to trialing the class. If a student enrolls the day of the trial class, the $10.00 will be applied to the registration fee.
*Dancers currently enrolled in the full-term session may trial any class, free of charge.
HOLIDAYS
We are closed the week of THANKSGIVING (same as MDCPS), CHRISTMAS BREAK (same as MDCPS), PRESIDENT’S DAY, SPRING BREAK (same as MDCPS), and MEMORIAL DAY. We are open on all other National Holidays and are ALWAYS OPEN on teacher workdays. Remember: the full monthly payment is due each month regardless of holidays and there are no credits or deductions for missed lessons.
HURRICANE CLOSURE
In the event that a hurricane warning is issued for Miami-Dade County, we will close the studio in accordance with the closure of the Miami-Dade public schools. The studio will re-open when it is deemed safe to do so. Information regarding re-opening will be issued via text, email, and posted on the Donna Lee Studio of Dance Facebook and Instagram pages.
DROP OFF/PICK UP
Students should arrive no more than 15 minutes before class time and should be picked up immediately after class is dismissed. Please do not leave unattended brothers or sisters in the waiting room. We cannot be responsible for them. Your cooperation will be greatly appreciated.
RECITAL
Our dance recital may be held the last weekend in May through the second weekend in June.
2023-2024 Recital dates are May 31st & June 1st.
DECORUM
Students must be cooperative and respectful in class. Students that are disruptive will be dismissed from class. Students are expected to arrive on time and be ready for class.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
For the health & safety or our teachers and students, parents are asked to keep sick children at home.
