Enrollment at the Russian School of Ballet is continuous, membership rolling from one year to the next. Annual Auto-Renewal: 1 (one) month's notice period applies to students not returning in the following academic year or to students making any changes to their original schedule (adding or removing classes or withdrawal from classes).

1. A non-refundable New Student Registration Fee of R500 is due at the time of enrollment. An annual Membership Fee of R300 is applicable for current students. These fees cover all RSB administrative costs. --- Dance Camps, Holiday Intensives participants: Registration/Membership Fees are not applicable.
2. Monthly tuition rates are based upon each month having 4 weeks, although some months may have more or fewer weeks. Due to holiday schedules, the number of classes per month may vary. Tuition has been added up over the year and averaged at the same amount every month, regardless of possible holidays.
3. Except by prior arrangement, tuition fees are due by the FIRST LESSON OF THE MONTH.
4. If a student registers in the last week of a session, payment for the next monthly session will also be due.
5. Russian School of Ballet reserves the right to prohibit students with outstanding fees from attending classes and rehearsals until full payment is received. The course of action may be taken, including possible termination of enrollment. All delinquent accounts will be turned over to a collection agency.
6. Tuition is not prorated for absences. Credit WILL NOT be given for classes missed due to illness, vacation, school closings, or acts of nature such as inclement weather. You are welcome to make up any class missed.
7. When a student is ill for an extended period or sustains an injury that does not permit them to participate over some time, a credit will be issued. A letter from a certified medical practitioner is required, which must include the dates where the student was under his/her care as well as identifying the medical condition or circumstances. THE LATE FEE POLICY IS STRICTLY ENFORCED AND ASSESSED PROMPTLY. NO EXCEPTIONS.
8. Private class cancellation: we request a 24-hour cancellation/rescheduling notice of any private class. As all our teachers have extra jobs outside their classes with RSB, this allows them to find alternative means of income for the spot “lost”.

1. Russian School of Ballet must be notified in writing no less than 15 days prior to the start of the upcoming monthly session of any changes to your original schedule (adding or removing classes or withdrawal from classes) or your account will be billed accordingly.
2. The Signatories hereby agree that 1 (one) month's notice must be given in writing before a student leaves the Russian School of Ballet, or a full month's cancellation fee be paid in lieu thereof.
3. Annual Auto-Renewal: 1 (one) month's notice period also applies to students not returning in the following academic year or to students cancelling just one of the classes during the course of enrollment.
4. The Signatories acknowledge that this cancellation fee is standard practice in education and reasonable in the circumstances.
5. All cancellations must be in writing in the form of an e-mail to accounts@russianschoolofballet.com. 6. Withdrawal may not be transacted verbally with teachers or Front Office Staff or over the phone.

As the legal parent or guardian, I release and hold harmless the Russian School of Ballet, its owners and its operators from any and all liability, claims, demands, and causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by the participant and/or the undersigned, while in or upon the premises or in route to or from any of said premises. I understand that appropriate physical contact is required during dance instruction, and I give permission for instructors to make appropriate physical contact with me or my child for such instruction.

1. A LATE FEE of R100 will be added to all outstanding amounts not paid on or before the due date. We understand that anyone may make a late payment from time to time, but please be respectful of our LATE FEE policy and, when applicable, graciously include your LATE FEE in your next payment.
2. Students will not be allowed in class if fees are not received by the 7th of the month.
3. The Signatories are still liable for the full tuition fees whether the student has been allowed in class or not due to the NON-PAYMENT of fees.
4. The Signatories accept that, in the event of any one or more defaults on monthly payments due to the School, Interest will be charged at the maximum permissible rate in terms of Regulation 42 of the National Credit Regulations, pertaining to incidental credit agreements, being 2% per month.
5. Should the School be obliged to litigate over arrears fees, or to implement debt collection, any and all charges and fees, inclusive of legal fees, will be recovered from the Signatories.

1. Upon registration, parents agree to a publicity release that authorizes the Russian School of Ballet to use images of their child for school promotional purposes.
2. In addition, because the Russian School of Ballet captures its indoor exercise classes on video, audio and still images for broadcast to the Russian School of Ballet members across the internet, by participating in an indoor exercise class, you grant the Russian School of Ballet permission to use voice recording, graphics, videos or photographs (for simplicity, these items will be referred to as "Materials") in one or more of its content, products and advertising, any form or format is now known or hereafter created, and distributed or made available throughout the world in perpetuity, without compensation to or further approval from you.
3. If you do not want the Materials to be captured, published or broadcast for such uses, you must choose not to participate in an indoor exercise class at the Russian School of Ballet.
4. Russian School of Ballet restricts the use of such images to archival needs or Russian School of Ballet marketing opportunities, including on social media. Russian School of Ballet does not permit or authorize the use of such images by any individual or other entity outside the Russian School of Ballet staff.
5. You understand and agree that the Russian School of Ballet shall be the exclusive owner of its products, content and advertising, including those containing the Materials, and that you are not entitled to any remuneration for such use. Unless the Russian School of Ballet receives written notification from the parent to revoke this publicity release, the above policy will be in effect.
