OUR VALUES CREATIVITY, CONFIDENCE, KINDNESS, EXPRESSION, HAPPINESS, TEAMWORK, FUN, FRIENDS, SUCCESS OUR ETHOS We strive to keep the love of dance and performance alive in our students. We pride ourselves on the welcoming and friendly atmosphere that is maintained in each and every one of our classes. Not only do students learn new skills in dance and performance they also learn valuable life skills like kindness, humility, compassion and confidence. We take huge responsibility for the children we teach and ensure they all look out for one another. OUR STUDENTS At 4D we expect our students to: - keep your phone/tablet out of sight during class. - respect all teaching staff. - treat all other pupils as you would wish to be treated yourself. - always come to class with a positive attitude. - always ask for help if you need it. - consistently try your best. - be kind, be confident and always be you.
Please read and agree to the following: -Payment is to be made via the website no later than the second week of term. Late payments will incur a 15% charge (unless an alternative payment plan has been discussed prior to this date). - Students wishing to leave 4th Dimension must give notice 6 weeks before the end of their last term. This must be sent in writing to admin@4d-dance.co.uk. - We cannot be held responsible for classes being cancelled due to extreme circumstances (i.e. severe weather conditions). In this case, an alternative class will be arranged where possible. If you are unable to attend a rescheduled class for any reason, no refund will be given. - Students must attend all classes in correct 4th Dimension uniform: 4D tee & black leggings/shorts/joggers (or a plain white t-shirt if waiting for uniform to arrive). Long hair must be tied up. - Students are expected to attend every class during the term. In the event of an absence they are expected to catch up with anything they missed before the following class. - Participation in shows and performances are not obligatory but we would love all students to be involved! Once an event is announced you will have TWO WEEKS to confirm your child's attendance in writing. (This is a new opt-in system from September 2018 onwards to ensure there is no confusion over choreography/costumes leading up to a show. Students can still attend class as normal if they are not wishing to perform.) Finally: We aim to create a fun-filled environment for students but please be aware that any bad behaviour, including classroom disruption, bad language or physical abuse will not be tolerated in any way and may result in exclusion.
