FEES AND CLASS INFORMATION
Dance classes will run in accordance with the VIC school terms, and some school holiday programs
may run during those times if there is sufficient enrolment.
Timetables are subject to change.
Prices are introductory prices and are subject to change.
Enrolment Fee
An annual ENROLMENT FEE of $20 for each student is applied once per year. This fee will be charged
on the anniversary date of the student’s enrolment. This annual enrolment fee covers equipment,
administration, communication, insurance, and music costs.
Fee Discounts
• 10 % discount applies if term payment is made before the 3rd week of term. Otherwise, full
payment is required.
• 10% discount applies if student is enrolled in 2 or more classes.
• 5% discount applies if you are mentioned to have directly referred a new student.
Payments Terms
• If you are paying weekly and you have not paid for the 2 weeks prior, the student will be
unable to participate until payment is made.
• If you are paying by term and no payment is made by the 3rd week of the term, the student
will be unable to participate until fees are paid.
• If there are circumstances that prevent you from paying by the due date, late payment fees
may apply, however, payment plans can be considered.
REFUNDS
There will be no refund given when a class is missed, however a make-up class can be offered in
some circumstances.
If a student sustains an injury, or medical condition that does not permit them to participate over an
extended period, a refund will be given for all classes missed.
If a very young student is not ready to participate after several lessons, a refund will be given.
If a class is cancelled due to insufficient registration, a refund will be given.
If a class must be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, that class will be reschedule at a
suitable time determined by 5,6,7,8 Dance Co.
DRESS CODE
5,6,7,8 Dance Co. uniforms and merchandise will be available to purchase. This clothing meets our
dress code requirements and is encouraged.
For ACROBATIC ARTS, tight fitted clothing, bare feet, and hair pulled up and out of the way,
preferably a bun, is expected for the safety of the student.
For all other classes, active wear or stretchy clothing is advised.
The following clothing is not permitted during class:
• NO THONGS, SLIPPERS, OR HEELS
• NO JEANS or shorts that don’t allow full range of motion
ATTENDANCE AND PARTICIPATION
For the benefit of all students, if a student has missed more than 2 classes in a row, they will be
advised to do a private lesson to catch up (if needed).
If a student is unwell, they should not be attending the facility, and may be sent home or sat out if
we believe there is a risk to others.
If a student is injured, a doctor’s note advising that they are fit to dance may be required.
Schedule is subject to change.
If a student wishes to cease enrolment, a message, email or call for courtesy is encouraged.
Studio information / communication will be via Email, Facebook or in some circumstances, phone
communication.
Some classes require pre-requisites or permission from the teacher.
We reserve the right to place students in classes according to their age, ability, and dance
experience.
GENERAL CONDUCT
Please NO SMOKING in or around the facility.
If you are watching a class or you arrive early to class and there is another class in progress, please
be courteous and quiet when waiting for your class to start.
Please make sure your details are up to date, by filling out a new enrolment form when there is a
change of circumstance or at the beginning of each year.
If a student is disrupting the class and impacting the learning of others, they may be asked to sit out
until they have calmed down.
Students and parents are expected to show respect for others and all property within the facility.
There will be a lost and found box, anything that remains in there at the end of each year will be
taken to good will.
If attending the facility with a younger child, please keep visitors to a max of 1 parent per child and
all siblings must be supervised at all times.
For your safety we suggest that you don’t stay during class time, except for trial classes and show
days, but understand that some children may be more comfortable with a parent present.
To get the most out of your dance education, a respectful attitude and regular attendance is
expected at each class.
Students (under 18) will not be able to leave the facility until a parent or guardian is present, if you
require an exception to this rule, please send it in writing with a signature.
