Performance: Our year end recital will take place in June of 2025. All our students are invited to participate in the recital. If you or your child does not want to take part in the recital for any reason. Please inform us no later than December 1, 2024. There is one costume per class. We do try and keep costume fees down by either reusing old costume or using store bought costumes. Costumes fees are on average between $80-$100.

Fees Withdrawals and Refunds: All classes run from September 2024- June 2025. If for any reason, a student chooses to discontinue classes, one month written notification of withdrawal is required. Please note we do not accept withdrawals during the third term (March 1st, 2025) Fees are payable until proper notice is received by the office or administrator. We do not prorate months or missed days, holidays or school vacations.

The dance season is 36 weeks long. We only charge for 34 weeks in case of unexpected closures. Fees are assessed on a yearly basis (34 week dance year) and prorated taking into consideration holidays, Christmas and Spring break. These fees include all class and instructional time as well as extra year-end production and technical rehearsal times.

All missed classes can be made up with any class on the schedule. Please check with office administration for which classes will work best for make up.

Registration Fee: A $45 non-refundable registration fee is payable on the day of registration. Enrollment is not guaranteed until payment of the first month/term is received. Payments are to be made at the beginning of each term/month. Payments are to be made by postdated cheque or pre- authorized Visa or Mastercard payments. All NSF cheques are subject to a $50 service charge.

Photographs may be used in print and digital platforms for brochures, website, and other promotional materials produced, used by, and representing Expressions the Dance Gallery. It is understood that the circulation of the materials could be worldwide and that there would be no compensation for this use. By granting permission for use of photographs and videos, families will release and agree to hold harmless the producers or any persons or entities acting under their permission or authority from any liability arising from use of said reproduction.

Medical Release and Authorization Inthe event of an emergency or non-emergency situation requiring medical treatment, hereby grant permission for any and all medical attention to be administered to my child/children in the event of an accidental injury or illness, until such time as can be contacted. This permission includes, but is not limited to, the administration of medical treatments and/or procedures deemed necessary under the recommendation of qualified medical personnel. I understand that the Expressions the Dance Gallery staff is trained in first aid but cannot administer emergency medical treatment, therefore in the case of an emergency, EDG staff will call 911. will assume all responsibility for payment(s) of medical treatment. Expressions the Dance Gallery will not be responsible for any medical costs.

I understand and acknowledge that dance instruction requires a hands-on approach for properly giving corrections, guidance, and instruction to students. I agree to allow instructors at Expressions the Dance Gallery to have physical contact with my child in order to provide necessary corrections and ensure proper form and technique during dance classes.

I understand that while all precautions will be taken to ensure the safety of my child during dance instruction, accidents and physical injuries may still occur. I acknowledge the risks involved in participating in dance classes and accept full responsibility for any injuries or damages that may occur as a result of my child's participation in dance instruction at Expressions the Dance Gallery.

I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Expressions the Dance Gallery, its owners, instructors, employees, or volunteers for any and all liabilities, claims, demands, actions, or damages that my child may sustain as a result of participation in dance classes or activities at Expressions the Dance Gallery.

I certify that I have read and fully understand the terms of this waiver and that I voluntarily agree to its contents. By signing this document, I acknowledge that I am giving up certain legal rights and remedies that may be available to me or my child in the event of any injury or damages. I agree to abide by the rules and guidelines set forth by Expressions the Dance Gallery and to adhere to the instructions and corrections provided by instructors during dance classes.
