PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:

 (1) NO REFUNDS will be given for any reason. I agree to pay for all lessons in advance and understand I will not be credited or refunded for any lessons missed for any reason. 

(2) Focal Point Dance Studios reserves the right to cancel or merge classes if the enrollment is below the minimum requirement of 7 dancers.

Registration must only be done online and will not be accepted in any other form. Please note that the system will automatically drop a student from his/her class(es) if payment is not made within 24 hours.

All students should be placed in their classes according to age as of August 19th, 2024. 
This policy is just as it is when your child is going into grade school. However, if the instructors and staff of Focal Point recommend that it is in the child’s best interest to move up a level we will notify you immediately. Please know that a lot of factors go into placing dancers in their correct level such as ability, experience, maturity, awareness and knowledge of dance terminology and technique to avoid possible injuries, etc. Please know that on average a dancer will remain in a level for about 3-4 years depending on what age they began dancing in that level and the pace of improvement. The staff of Focal Point are always looking to help our dancers strive for growth and are always open to giving feedback on what your dancer can work on to help reach their goals!

**IMPORTANT**: THE MONTHLY TUITION IS DUE BY THE 1ST OF EACH MONTH VIA AUTOMATIC RECURRING ONLINE PAYMENTS ONLY. A WORKING CREDIT CARD MUST BE PUT ON FILE FOR AUTOMATIC PAYMENT CHARGES- NO EXCEPTIONS. OUR EXPERTISE IS IN DANCE, NOT COLLECTIONS ? 
FIRST MONTH AND REGISTRATION FEE IS DUE AT REGISTRATION!

Payment 2 (Due before/on September 1st) = September 15, 2024 to October 12, 2024
Payment 3 (Due before/on October 1st) = October 13, 2024 to November 09, 2024
Payment 4 (Due before/on November 1st) = November 10, 2024 to December 14, 2024
Payment 5 (Due before/on December 1st) = December 15, 2024 to January 25, 2025
Payment 6 (Due before/on January 1st) = January 26, 2025 to February 22, 2025
Payment 7 (Due before/on February 1st) = February 23, 2025 to March 22, 2025
Payment 8 (Due before/on March 1st) = March 23, 2025 to April 26, 2025
Payment 9 (Due before/on April 1st) = April 27, 2025 to May 24, 2025
Payment 10 (Due before/on May 1st) = May 25, 2025 to June 15, 2025

UPON REGISTRATION, IT IS AUTOMATICALLY ASSUMED YOUR CHILD WILL PARTICIPATE IN THE ANNUAL RECITAL!

A recital fee of $150 per child (Includes Recital Video, Recital T-Shirt, Flower Bouquet, Off Duty Police Office for both dress rehearsal and show day, as well as, Food and Beverages backstage) will be automatically charged on December 15th, 2024.If you wish to opt out of participating in recital you may do so by notifying the front desk in writing via email to focalpointmiami@gmail.com by December 1st, 2024.

All dancers will participate in picture day prior to recital. Picture fees must be paid in full before designated picture date (more information regarding finalized date will be sent via email).

**Please note that any recital fees and costume fees paid are non-refundable!**

**IMPORTANT**: Please make sure you can commit to BOTH Dress Rehearsal & Recital

**IMPORTANT**: Please make sure your dancer is available for all rehearsals throughout the season. It is imperative that all dancers are present during rehearsals for the month of June leading up to recital.

For clear and consistent communication, our dance studio uses written correspondence via text, whatsapp, and email. Please check your email regularly to stay updated on classes, events, and important information. If there are any requests or concerns, they MUST be done so via email (focalpointmiami@gmail.com).

If removal/cancellation from a class is needed, an email notification must be sent before the 20th of the month to prevent charges for the following month. If you do not request to be removed from the class before the 20th of the month, you will be charged for that class - no exceptions. Focal Point Dance Studios reserves the right to cancel any class that does not meet the minimum requirement of dancers.

Makeup classes must be scheduled by the front desk and are available if there is a corresponding and appropriate class that is open. Please email focalpointmiami@gmail.com to schedule your dancer’s makeup class. Focal Point Dance Studios reserves the right to reschedule classes and schedule make-up classes when needed.

Despite precautions, I acknowledge participation in dance classes and activities could involve some possible personal injury. I recognize my child cannot receive care without my permission. By signing below, I give permission to the staff of Focal Point Dance Studios to procure emergency medical attention. I will assume full financial responsibility for any medical treatment rendered. By signing this release form, I, on behalf of myself and my child/ward, assume all risks related to the use of any and all spaces "the premises," "facility" or "facilities" used by Focal Point Dance Studios.
I agree to release and hold harmless Focal Point Dance Studios including its teachers, dancers, staff members and facilities from any cause of action, claims or demands now and in the future.

I hereby give Focal Point Dance Studios, their assigns, successors in interest, legal representatives, and heirs the irrevocable right to use any photographs taken for Focal Point Dance Studios of any of my child(ren) or family in all forms and in all media and in all manners, without any restriction as to changes or alterations. I agree that the photographer will hold all copyrights of these photographs and/or videos.

As a studio, we implement a specific dress code to benefit each dancer enrolled in our classes. This is not only for safety, but it also lends to a level of professionalism in the class when dressed properly. Having strict guidelines for these requirements will only enhance your dancer’s experience. It is vital that these uniform expectations are met every week, and should any complications occur, we kindly ask that you notify us in the office via email.

As a student at Focal Point Dance Studios I promise to do my best in class and strive to excel in my craft. I will be respectful to my classmates and encourage them along our journey together to become better performing artists and dancers. I will never lay my hands or feet on anyone with aggression. I will not hurt feelings with name calling nor harass my classmates via phone, text or social media. I will never gang up on anyone or allow others to influence my behavior in a negative manner. I am at Focal Point Dance Studios to learn and dance, and will treat this space and all those in it with love and respect.
