FINANCIAL OBLIGATIONS

1. Tuition and Fees
Class Fees: All students pay the tuition fees for classes as outlined in the studio’s pricing structure. This includes regular classes, workshops, and private lessons.

Registration Fees: A one-time registration fee during enrollment.

Recital/Performance Fees: These are fees associated with recitals, performances, or showcases, which may cover venue costs, and other related expenses.

2. Payment Policies
Payment Schedule: Tuition is due on the 1st of each month. Additional fees such as recital, costume, and any additional fees. Payments can be made through the payment portal, PayPal, Venmo, Cash App or cash.

Late Fees: Overdue payments will be charged a $10 late fee after the 10th of each month.

Refund Policies: NO REFUNDS for withdrawals/cancellations for any reason including fees, costumes etc.

3. Cancellations

Volunteer Dismissal: For any reason you choose to depart from The Dance Company, it is required that you send an email stating the child's last day of class. If your child departs during the beginning or middle of the month, tuition is still owed.

*Failure to keep financial obligations may result to dismissal from the studio and collections from a 3rd party.

I, the undersigned, wish to participate in dance classes and related activities at THE DANCE COMPANY OF MOBILE LLC (The Dance Company of Mobile, The Dance Company, DCM). I understand and acknowledge that these activities involve physical exertion and the risk of injury.

ASSUMPTION OF RISK:

Acknowledgment of Risks: I acknowledge that participation in dance classes and activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to, the risk of physical injury, strains, sprains, fractures, or other health complications. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation.

Medical Condition: I confirm that my child is in good health and do not have any medical conditions that would them me from participating in dance activities. I have disclosed any pre-existing medical conditions to The Dance Company and will inform the instructor of any changes in health.

WAIVER AND RELEASE:

Release of Liability: I hereby release, discharge, and hold harmless The Dance Company of Mobile, its owners, instructors, employees, volunteers, and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all claims, demands, liabilities, or causes of action that may arise out of or relate to my participation in dance classes or activities, including but not limited to claims for personal injury, property damage, or death.

Indemnification: I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any and all claims, demands, or actions arising from my participation in dance classes or activities, including any legal costs or expenses incurred in defending against such claims.

MEDICAL TREATMENT:

Consent to Treatment: In the event of an injury or medical emergency, I consent to receive medical treatment deemed necessary by a qualified medical professional. I understand that I am responsible for any medical expenses incurred as a result of such treatment.

Photo and Video Release:

Consent to Use: I grant the Studio permission to use photographs or video recordings of my child taken during dance classes or activities for promotional purposes, including but not limited to, advertisements, social media, and website content. I understand that I will not receive any compensation for such use.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution:

Governing Law: This waiver and release shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Alabama, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from or related to this waiver and release shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Mobile, Alabama, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

Acknowledgment and Agreement:

By signing this waiver and release, I acknowledge that I have read and understood its contents, including the risks involved, and that I am voluntarily agreeing to the terms. I also acknowledge that I have had the opportunity to ask questions and seek clarification regarding this waiver.


I, the undersigned, am the parent or legal guardian of the minor participant. I have read and understood this waiver and release and consent to the minor’s participation in the dance classes and activities.
