FEE COMMITMENT The dance school season is a 9 month period. It is assumed when a student purchases a contract and enrolls in a class, they are registering for the full dance season. Payments are due on the 1st of the month. To withdraw, written notice must be given no later than the 1st of the previous month. There is no refund for classes after March 30th for any classes particiapting in the year end show.
I give permission to JDD to use video or photographs of me and/or my child for promotional use. VIDEO AND PHOTOGRAPHS JILL DREADDY DANCECO may video or photograph students in class for the purpose of promotion and advertising. Unless notified in writing, JDD will assume that such photographs or video may be used for publicity purposes. Video and photos are strictly prohibited by observers during class without the permission of the teacher. I release Jill Dreaddy Danceco Inc. and any teachers from liability in the case of accident or injury. I understand that classes will be conducted in the safest possible manner by the instructors REFUNDS are given only in the event of cancellation due to insufficient registration or illness/injury with a medical note from one's doctor. Refunds are effective from the day classes are cancelled or from the day we receive a medical note. There is no refund for classes missed.
Information provided in your account/profile is being collected for the purpose of registering for classes. This information will only be disclosed to staff of JDD who will need the information in order to process registration.
ADMINISTRATION FEE A non-refundable $32 fee is collected at the time of registration (per season, per family). CREDIT CARDS PAYMENTS When you purchase a contract with a Visa or Mastercard, the card is stored for all further payments. Your account goes into an autopay system and the card is charged automatically for fees and all costumes related charges (i.e. costume deposits and balances). Please see autopay schedules below. Once your contract has expired or has been terminated, no further charges are made to that card unless there is a balance owing. DECLINED CREDIT CARD TRANSACTIONS there is a $25 processing fee for every declined transaction. MONTHLY AUTOPAY SCHEDULE There are 9 payments in total. The first instalment is paid when you register. The remaining 8 payments will be charged to your card October to May Please Note - costume deposits will be charged to your card upon registration. If there is more than one class that will require a costume, the balance will be divided and charged over October and November.

Students are welcome to make up classes missed within that billing term. Please make arrangements for makeup classes with your instructor prior to the class.
REGISTRATION Students must be registered and fees paid prior to their first class. Registration is accepted throughout the season space permitting. Registration is based on a first-come, first-serve basis. LATE PAYMENT CHARGE A fee of $15 will be charged to your account if fees have not been received on their due dates. If fees are not paid within 14 days after the due date, contracts will be terminated and students will not be permitted to participate in class. PROCESSING FEE A $25 processing fee will be charged to all credit card transactions that are declined and contracts that are terminated after the 2 week notice period. INCLEMENT WEATHER We announce closure of the studio on our website and Facebook page. Please confirm cancellation of classes 1 hour prior to your class as there are often updates throughout the day. Students are encouraged to make up classes that have been cancelled due to bad weather. Please make arrangements with your teacher prior to attending a class. We do not reschedule classes. YEAR END PRODUCTION COMMITMENT June 11th, 2024 (possible hold over date, June 12th, 2024) Arts & Culture Centre Evening performance Tots In Motion and some adult classes do not participate in the show. If your class is a class that does perform in the show and you prefer not to participate you must notify us when you register. A $60 costume deposit is due when you register and if there are more than one they will be divided and charged over October and Novemeber. Please note that the deposit collected is not the price of the costume but a deposit towards it. Once costumes are ordered they are the student’s responsibility and must be paid for in full. An invoice for the balance is sent home once all costume items have been ordered or purchased, unless you have a credit card store, it will be charged automatically. Costume deposits are nonrefundable after November 30th. UNIFORMS & DRESSCODE REQUIREMENTS JDD has a uniform for Music & Movement, Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical, and Pointe classes and a specific dresscode for all other classes. Uniforms must be worn to class every week. Students will receive a confirmation email for each class they register for which will outline the uniform/dresscode requirements, along with other important information.
