We are pleased to welcome you to Laura’s Dance Dynamics. The following information will pertain to the
2023-2024 dance year. If you have any questions, please contact us at (817) 285-0770.

Registration
Our classes for each dance year run from Mid-August -Mid-June with registration beginning in July. You may register online through our website, during studio hours or on special registration dates.
Age and Class Levels
All Dancers must register for the class designed for their age group. Class age is determined by the dancers DOB as of August 14th of this year. If a dancer would like to move to the next age level or class level, please contact the front office and request a class evaluation. Class Evaluations will be done during your child’s age-appropriate dance class. The teacher will evaluate the dancers’ ability, how they follow directions, motor skill levels and maturity for the class level. Each class is designed to ensure that the movements and class level are consistent with the appropriate age and ability level for each dancer.
Tuition and Registration
Our annual registration fee is $40.00 for one student and $10.00 for each additional family member.
Monthly Tuition fees are as follows:
30 minute classes: $50.00 1-hour 15-minute classes: $85.00
45 minute classes: $65.00 1 ½ hour classes: $90.00
1-hour classes: $75.00 Additional class and family discounts are available.
Tuition is due on the 1st of each month. After the 5th of each month, a $15.00 late fee will be added to your account if tuition is not FULLY paid. Full tuition will be paid each month regardless of any holidays, breaks, or absences. Some months hold 5 weeks, but no additional tuition will be charged since these months even out with the holiday vacations throughout the year. Tuition will not be prorated due to the student missing classes, although the student may take a makeup class with the instructor’s permission. If the studio is ever closed, you may drop your tuition check inside the mail slot located outside the front door of the studio or make your payment online via our parent portal. NSF charge of $35.00 will be charged to accounts if any checks are returned.
Withdrawal from Dance Class
If for any reason you decide to discontinue classes, a written notice must be provided to the front office with a minimum of one-week advanced notice. You will be responsible for monthly tuition until your cancellation notice is provided. The studio must have documentation of your dancer’s withdrawal. There are withdraw forms in the front office for your convenience.
Refund Policy
Refunds will not be given for any reason. This includes tuition, costume fees, recital fees and/or fundraising credits. If necessary, your dance account will be credited and can then be used at a later date.
Studio Communication
LDD uses email as our main form of communication. We also post important information on your parent portal, on the studio bulletin boards, our website, all social media platforms, and our TV located in the studio lobby. Please check your emails from us regularly.
Recital
Annual recital fee: $85.00 for single student, $10.00 for each additional family member. The recital fee is due with November’s tuition.
**Includes a DVD of the full recital**
Our annual recital will take place at the end of our dance year June 7th-8th 2024. Recital gives our students the chance to shine on stage and show the progress they have made throughout the year, while also giving them memories that will last a lifetime. The annual recital fee helps pay for the auditorium rental, insurance, programs, backdrops, and all other expenses incurred in making the recital the best it can be. Recital fees are non-refundable.

Recital Costumes
Costume fees:
30 min – 1-hour classes $150.00 for the 1st class ($100 for each additional 30 minute – 1-hour class per dancer)
1 ½ hour classes $250.00 for the 1st class ($175 for each additional 1 ½ class per dancer)
Costume fees include costumes for each style of dance, tights, a recital T-shirt, and any extra costume accessories or props that may be needed for their dances.
Costumes are required to participate in recital and will be ordered in January. A Deposit of Half of the costume fee will be due with October’s tuition. Any remaining balances will be due with January’s tuition. All costume fees are non-refundable, and costumes will not be ordered without a deposit.

Laura’s Dance Dynamics will only observe the holiday schedule listed below:

In case of inclement weather, the studio will close when HEB District Public Schools close.
Fundraisers
The studio will provide fundraisers throughout the year to help each student raise money for his or her dance account. Money raised in fundraisers will be credited to any unpaid balances or upcoming charges on their account. Fundraising money is non-refundable. Any unused funds will be carried over to the next dance year.
Viewing Windows
The viewing windows will be open so parents may enjoy their dancer’s classes. Please remember the viewing window is an easy distraction for dancers. You can see them, and they can see you. Please refrain from tapping or talking through the window or opening the studio door to get your child’s attention.
Attendance
Attendance is especially important in order for a student to progress. Please make sure your dancer is in class and on time every week. If your child must be absent, please call and notify us in advance. Tuition will not be pro-rated if a student misses a class, but you may schedule a make-up class with the instructor’s permission.
Attire
All students must wear appropriate dancewear and dance shoes to class in order to participate.
Dancewear and Dance Shoes: For your convenience, Laura’s Dance Dynamics has dance shoes and dancewear available to order at the studio. Please see the front office for assistance.

Sizing kits are available at the front desk to ensure the perfect fit. All shoe styles sold at the studio will be the appropriate shoes used for the recital.

Hair: All dancers must wear their hair up off the neck and out of the dancer’s face.
Cover-ups: All students must wear cover-ups to and from the dance studio. All cover-ups must be removed during class time.
Boys clothing: Athletic shorts or pants with a tank top or formed fitted t-shirt.
Boys shoes: All tap/jazz/ballet shoes are to be black.
