Attendance Policy

Students are expected to be in class each and every week. Absences or tardiness can have a negative effect on the entire class

Make sure you notify NODC in case of an absence. Email - nodc06@gmail.com

If a student is absent from class they are responsible for learning the steps taught in the lesson missed.

If attendance becomes a problem the student's participation in any performance will be discussed with a possibility of not being able to perform.

All students must be READY to dance at the start of each class. Late students may only enter with permission from the teacher

It is mandatory for all Dancers to be present for the last class before any performance.

Dress Code Policy

All dancers should come to class in the following:
Black leotard(no skirt attached)
Black shorts or leggings (no skirts)
Transition tights (color is according to the Dancer level)
Black Tap shoes
Black Jazz shoes
Pink Ballet

Baby Bunch and Level 1 Dancers are to wear BLACK transition tights.
Level 2 and Level 3 Dancers are to wear PINK transition tights.
Level 2 and Level 3 Dancers should have Oxford tap shoes (3 screws in shoes for tap sound)

Liability Waiver


In consideration of being allowed to participate in anyway in this program, related events and activities, I the undersigned, acknowledge, appreciate, and agree that:
1. The risk of injury from activities involved in this program is significant because it is a physical activity.

2. I Knowingly and freely assume all such risk, both known and unknown, even arising from the negligence of the releases or others and assume full responsibility for my child's participation.

3. I willingly agree to comply with the stated and customary terms and conditions for my child's participation.

4. I, for myself and or my child, and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representation and next of kin, hereby release, indemnify and hold harmless New Orleans Dance Collective, with respect to all injury, disability, death or lost or danger to person or property, whether arising from negligence of the release or otherwise, to the fullest extent of the law.

5. I allow New Orleans Dance Collective staff with an active certification in Children CPR to use emergency medical protocol on my child if needed.

I HAVE READ THIS RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK AGREEMENT, FULLY UNDERSTANDING ITS TERMS, AND UNDERSTANDING THAT I HAVE GIVEN UP SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS BY SIGNING IT AND SIGN IT FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY WITHOUT INDUCEMENT.

I understand that the photograph(s) could be released to the local newspapers and may be used in other publications, print- ad, direct mal pieces, electronic media or other forms of promotion. I further release New Orleans Dance Collective, the Photographer, their office, employees, agents, and designees from liability for any violation of any personal or proprietary right I may have in connection with such use.
