Agreement to Participate
I understand that all dance and tumble classes may include, without limitation, dancing with props, stretching, barre work, across the floor combinations, dance routines in the center, mat work, and other related activities. I further understand that all of the activities of the dance and fitness classes and camps involve various degrees of risk of strain or bodily injury. I understand that Rhythm & Sole Dance Center does not carry medical insurance for its students, participants’ or family members who stay to watch the children. It is required that all students and participants carry their own insurance and if injury should occur at the studio or at a designated venue such as the recital venue it is understood that the students’ policy is your ONLY source of reimbursement. Rhythm & Sole Dance Center is not responsible for personal property or injury.
I hereby release, waive, discharge and covenant not to sue Rhythm & Sole Dance Center and its Owners from all liability to the undersigned, my/our personal representatives, assigns, executors, heirs, and next of kin for any and all claims, demands, losses or damages and any claims or demands therefore on account of any injury, including but not limited to the death of the participant or damage to property, arising out of or relating to the events caused of alleged to be caused in who or in part by the negligence of the release or otherwise.
SOCIAL MEDIA:
Students and parents are expected to use social media only to reflect the studio's Code of Ethics. Students and parents using social media to knowingly disparage any aspect of their team, instructor, their peers or Rhythm & Sole Dance Center staff will run the risk of dismissal from the team and studio.
Photo Release
By signing you give permission for Rhythm & Sole Dance Center to use photos taken at the studio and at studio events for studio use such as on social media sites, marketing materials including but not limited to newspaper ads, postcards and brochures.
