Upon enrolment (new & re enrolment), Move & Groove Dance School trusts that parents will honour their commitment to Move & Groove Dance School and pay all costs incurred. We ask that all parents abide by the terms & conditions & agreement as set out below:
1. Fees are invoiced before the commencement of each term & MUST be paid within 2 weeks of each term.
2. Fees will not be refunded for missed lessons or cancellation of enrolment.
3. Fee payment options can be found on your statement.
4. Students must be suitably groomed for classes, girls must have hair neatly secured in a bun and students must wear the appropriate uniform recommended for their class. We do not expect children to be in correct uniform in their first week of classes however by week 4 we would like to see all students in the correct uniform.
5. Parents are not permitted inside the studio whilst classes are in progress.
6. Students must be collected from the studio door promptly at the end of the lesson. Children will not be permitted to leave the studio for any reason without a parent or carer. There is no supervision for students outside of their own class time.
7. Move & Groove Dance School will not be held liable for any loss or damage of property left at the studio. Please ensure your child's items are clearly labelled.
8. All students will be included in our end of year concert performance.
9. The use of cameras & video cameras will not be permitted during end of year concert performance.
10. Please notify Move & Groove Dance School asap if your child will not be attending class.
11. When dancers leave the building, they are out of our care, no student should wait or be asked to wait outside the building to be collected. There is no supervision for children once they leave the building.
12. Parents are responsible for maintaining up to date contact details.
13. It is at the risk of the parent/guardian that students participate in dance classes with a know injury or illness. If students are seen to be unfit to participate, parents/guardians will be called to come & collect the student ASAP. No medications can, or will be, administered by staff. In the event of an emergency, professional medical help will be sought.
14. Parents/Guardians understand that all reasonable care & safe teaching practices will be taken by Move & Groove Dance School to maintain the safety of my child/children and that there can be a risk involved in participating in any class or activity. In the case of an injury or accident, parents/guardians do not hold Move & Groove Dance School responsible.
15. Parents/Guardians give permission for photos & videos to be taken of students in class, public performance & concerts to be used for the sole purposes of promoting Move & Groove Dance School which can include flyers, newspaper, websites, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat & You Tube.
16. Parents/Guardians understand that some physical contact may be necessary by a staff member to demonstrate exercises or techniques or if a staff member needs to administer first aid.
