I understand that once a student has enrolled in a class six weeks written notice or six weeks fees in lieu of notice is required for cancellation of that class within the academic year. Re-enrolment occurs anually for the Autumn Term starting in September. Students can join at any time throughout the year.
Once a student has enrolled in a class six weeks written notice or six weeks fees in lieu of notice (excluding school holidays) is required for cancellation of that class within the academic year (September to July). A 25% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of registration to secure your place. Deposits are deducted from the first term's invoice. Invoices are issued at the start of each term. Fees not paid by half term will be subject to a £5 administration fee.
From time to time Aucott School of Dance will take photographs and video clips of students in classes, performances and at special events. Such images may be used as part of school promotional materials in print (papers/newsletters/flyers etc.) or online (school website/facebook/twitter). If you DO NOT wish images of you/your child to be used in this way please contact the school and a note will be recorded on your file to that effect. Please note that images used will never contain identifying information (surnames/ages/addresses etc.) or be published without parental permission.
We are proud of our students and love to show off what we do so from time to time Aucott School of Dance may take photographs and video clips during dance classes, rehearsals, performances, workshops, etc. which may be used in school newsletters, website, social media and printed publicity (flyers, posters, etc.) By selecting 'I Agree' you confirm that Aucott School of Dance may use images of you/your child in this manner. Please note: No identifying information will ever be published with images without additional written consent being obtained.
Aucott School of Dance will use the email addresses you provide to send account statements (invoices and receipts), school newsletters, information relating to your dance classes and activities associated with those classes, e.g. exams, workshops, rehearsals, performances. We will also use email, text and from time to time telephone, to contact you in the event of unforeseen cancellations, emergencies, or any personal matter relating to you or your children and their dance classes. Occasionally you may receive important correspondence via post if email addresses are unsuccessful.
We use DanceStudio-Pro to store and process student data. Our database is password protected and DanceStudio-Pro do not have access to your information. Aucott School of Dance teachers have access to relevant medical information and emergency contact details only for the students they personally teach. You can update your information at any time via your online portal.
A 'Right To Be Forgotten' button can be found in your account settings. Please note that outstanding invoices may need to be settled prior to your request to be removed from our database being processed.
Aucott School of Dance treat all personal information with the strictest confidence and will never share your details with other parties. The only exception to this is where dates of birth, gender and ethnicity may be required on examination entry forms for Royal Academy of Dance and Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing dance exams.
