The information will be held at Galaxy Talent Academy and will only be accessed and used by people employed or engaged by Galaxy Talent Academy in the delivery of services to you. The provision of the information is voluntary, but if this information is not provided, Galaxy Talent Academy may be unable to process your enrolment application. You have a right of access to, and correction of, your personal and health information in accordance with Privacy Legislation.
PLEASE NOTE THAT AN ENROLMENT FORM FOR A STUDENT WITH OUTSTANDING FEES FROM THE PREVIOUS YEAR WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED UNTIL SUCH TIME AS ALL OUTSTANDING DEBTS ARE PAID IN FULL. THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTION TO THIS RULE.
PHOTOGRAPHS:
I understand and agree that photographs of my child/ren may be used in the promotion of Galaxy Talent Academy. (If you do not agree to this, please contact the studio Principal immediately to advise).
ENROLMENT FEE:
Enrolment fees will be included in your first invoice of each year, and are required to be paid on your first lesson. Only students who have paid this enrolment fee with their first weeks lesson fee will be able to participate in lessons & are covered under our insurance.
PAYMENT OF CLASS FEES:
** ALL CLASS FEE payments MUST be paid in advance or be current and up to date as at that weeks lesson.
** A Direct Debit Agreement between Galaxy and GoCardless must be arranged by every dance family as at 1 July, 2020.
TIMETABLE CHANGES:
All classes are subject to change. We aim to operate classes as per the timetable as published, however there may be instances where changes are required due to fluctuations in demand, illness or government regulation and/or restrictions. No guarantee is made that classes will run per the timetable. We will communicate any changes to anyone affected prior to the date classes commence.
TEACHING CONTACT:
Due to the nature of dance training, some physical contact may be necessary by a teacher to demonstrate exercises or techniques during class or rehearsals. Where practical no physical contact will be made. Teachers have been provided training on how to better explain exercises verbally to students in order to maintain social distancing.
CONCERT COSTUMING:
Our end of year concert is one almost all of our students keenly anticipate, however we do understand that not every student is willing or able to participate. If this is the case PLEASE notify your teacher as soon as possible so that routines can be adjusted accordingly, as every student will be choreographed into routines unless we are otherwise notified. We will also know not to order costumes. If this notice comes after costumes have been ordered, they will need to be paid in full.
END OF YEAR CONCERT & COSTUME PAYMENTS
** Families will be asked to complete a document acknowledging their commitment to perform in our end of year concert, and once this is signed they understand that any incurred costs for their child MUST be covered should they choose to withdraw.
** If costume orders are placed on your behalf and deposits paid to suppliers, you are responsible for their payment IN FULL. There are no exceptions to this rule, as once costume orders are placed and deposits paid, the suppliers will understandably and rightly expect full payment for goods ordered, as most items are made to order.
** If costumes have yet to be ordered, or are able to be cancelled should the production on them not have started, you of course will not be expected to pay for these costumes. However, please understand once orders are placed and in production, there is no refund available.
