I understand that registration fees must be paid at the time of registration, and that tuition is due at the start of the term. This applies to in-person and virtual classes. TUITION IS NON-REFUNDABLE I understand that COVID release forms must be signed prior to attending in-person classes.
I hereby waive, release and indemnify Ballet For All Kids, Bonnie Schlachte, Rebecca Elbogen, Brett Weidlich, and volunteers from any and all liability for accident or injuries (even if the accident or injury is the fault of the instructor or a volunteer) incurred while attending Ballet For All Kids.
I specifically grant permission to Ballet For All Kids, Bonnie Schlachte, Rebecca Elbogen, and/or Brett Weidlich to use mine and/or my child’s likeness, voice and words in television, radio, newspapers, films, website, magazines, and media of any other form not heretofore described to further the aims of Ballet For All Kids.
In-Person Class Policies: • Please arrive at least 10 minutes early to complete the screening process. Each class is approximately 50 minutes. • Parents are expected to stay on the premises at all times and to assist their child in class if needed. We will NOT be having volunteer assistants in order to avoid contact. Otherwise, parents must stay in the designated waiting area. • No food, drink or gum is permitted in the studio. Please respect the studio space. • Children and siblings must be watched when not in class. • Students must wear proper ballet attire. • Girls: any color leotard without rhinestones/glitter, pink tights or ballet socks, ballet shoes, hair pulled back into bun if possible • Boys: solid color tank or t-shirt, black exercise shorts or pants, white or black ballet socks, white or black ballet shoes, hair pulled back if needed Virtual Class Policies: • Make sure you have enough safe space to move around. Try to follow class routines like wearing proper attire/shoes. • Join class a few minutes early. Please note: new participants will NOT be admitted 10 minutes after class has started. • Please “rename†yourself to show the student’s name on Zoom if needed. • All participants are encouraged to keep their camera on so teachers can give feedback. You will at least be asked to verify your identity on camera. • All participants will be muted but can un-mute as needed or use the chat box. • Use “Active Speaker View†to see the teacher’s video as large as possible. • All class times are posted in Pacific Standard Time. If attending virtual classes, please double check your time zone. General Policies: • Parent need to be on the premises at all times and may be expected to assist in class. • Appropriate attire must be worn for each class. Hair should be off the face and in a bun. Shoes must fit properly and laces of ballet shoes should be tucked into the shoe. Please dress according to the dress code. • Bonnie Schlachte/Rebecca Elbogen/Brett Weidlich will make all decisions regarding appropriate class and methods of teaching each child. • Bonnie Shlachte/Rebecca Elbogen/Brett Weidlich/BFAK reserves the right to refuse services. • Tuition is due at the start of the term.
