REGISTRATION - Your initial 1st month's tuition payment, including the $20 registration fee (per student) and $30 costume deposit (per class) are due upon registration. Costume cost $65.00/class. Performance Fee $40.00/Family/includes a mandatory meeting (1) in October and (2nd) in May) Parent only need to attend (1) meeting. TUITION – Tuition is based on fees for the full-season, which we have conveniently divided into 10 monthly installments. Your tuition is not related to the number of classes there are in any month. September’s tuition is due at registration. Tuition payments are due on the 1st lesson of each month. Payments received after the 2nd Saturday of each month will be charged a late fee of $10 per month. Your final payment is due the 1st of June. Costumes fee after November 15-30 w$90.00 per class to guarantee delivery. ***NFS: There will be a $30.00 service charge on all returned checks*** Tuition will be posted to your account every month regardless of your attendance record. If you wish to discontinue a dance class, you must notify the studio in writing in order for the monthly tuition to stop accruing. You are responsible for all payments accrued until you notify the studio of your intent to discontinue studying dance. All accounts are paid in full by June 1st. ABSENCES – There are no discounts given for classes missed. Dancers are able to make-up classes missed during the dance season due to illness or other circumstances. Remember it is your obligation to notify the studio when your child will be absent from class. ATTIRE – Proper attire is required for all students at all times in all classes. Failure to wear the proper attire could result in students being asked to sit out the class. Students are not permitted to wear jeans, jeggins, or street shoes to any dance class. All students must wear their hair pulled back and off of their neck. Absolutely no gum or food of any kind will be allowed in the dance rooms. For safety reasons, students without proper attire and footwear will not be allow to participate in class. CANCELLED CLASSES – We reserve the right to cancel, combine or shorten a class, based on enrollment. We also reserve the right to use a substitute teacher, if necessary. When a lesson needs to be cancelled due to adverse weather conditions, a message will be sent via “Remindâ€. Arrangements can be made to make-up the cancelled lesson. ANNUAL DANCE CONCERT – To participate, a student must meet the following requirements: 1) Have good attendance throughout the year; 2) Have perfect attendance in the months of May and June (some exceptions will be made with instructors consent); 3) Purchase a costume for each subject the student wishes to participate in; 4) Attend all-academy studio run-thurs and on-site tech rehearsals; 5) Have account balances paid-in-full. COSTUME COSTS – A costume fee of $65 per class will be due by October 09th. Costumes are ordered from national costume companies and take months to be delivered. Any costume payments received after the studio has placed our season order will be charged an additional $20.00 shipping fee, per costume, and will not be guaranteed to arrive by picture day. CLASSROOM VISITORS/OBSERVATIONS – Visitors will be allowed to view classes during designated studio approved timeframe in December. Parents/Guardians/Visitors are not allowed to be inside classrooms or stand outside the entrance of classrooms, during class instruction. PARENT/GUARDIAN RESPONSIBILITIES – It is the responsibility of the parent to be aware of all studio related activities, such as visitor week, concerts, extra classes and dates the school is open or closed. The studio will post all notices on bulletin boards as well as send calendars/notices home with the child. Parents should check these boards and/or calendars weekly to ensure they are well informed. CARE OF STUDENTS - The studio is not responsible for providing before or after care for students. Students under the age of 5 are to remain in the studio during classes. Students are not to be left at the studio for excessive time before or after classes. INJURIES – Parents, legal guardians and adult students waive the right to any legal action for any injury sustained on the dance studio property resulting from normal dance activity or any other activity conducted by the students before, during or after class time. PHOTO RELEASE – The studio is hereby granted permission to take video and photographs of the students to use in brochures, studio website, posters, advertisements and other promotional materials the studio creates.
