TUITION: Tuition can be processed one of three ways; annually, bi-annually, and monthly. Tuition that is paid annually must be paid in full the first day of class. Tuition that is paid bi-annually must be paid the first class in September and in January. Tuition paid monthly, is due on the 1st of each month. A $20.00 late fee will be automatically assessed for tuition received in our office after the 7th. If paying by cheque, it is the parent’s responsibility to issue RPDC post dated cheques. * If there are failure to pay outstanding fees, RPDC will take necessary steps to rectify the situation, including but not limited to small claims court and collections.
*PLEASE NOTE: We only take payment by credit, cash, cheque, or e transfer. We are unable to accept debit payment at this time. Should the card be declined on the 1st, we will attempt the transaction again on the 5th. An email will be sent out advising you of the declined payment and the reattempt on the 5th. Automatic credit card deductions will ONLY be debited on the 1st of each month. If tuition is not paid by the 1st of the next month, students will not be allowed to participate in class until all fees (including late fees) are current.
The RPDC sends an automatic, email courtesy reminder invoice on the 25th of every month. To participate in any studio function, students must not have any past due tuition. This includes our annual recital, local performances, and seasonal dance competitions. Automatic Credit Card payments that are denied will be charged a $20.00 service fee. Any cheque returned to the studio for insufficient funds will be charged a $45.00 service fee – no exceptions. Parents are responsible for all outstanding fees from both current and previous seasons.

If a class needs to be canceled for any reason, you will be notified by email. Important: Canceled classes do not result in a return of tuition fees. Where possible, missed classes will have make-up dates assigned. Please be sure to check the calendar for updates.
CLASSES/DANCE DISCIPLINES: The dance instructor is solely responsible for decisions on dances, choreography, costumes, hair, makeup, and performances. Parents and dancers may have input, but the final decision lies with the instructor. Proper clothing must be worn to each class (see ‘Dress Code’ for specifics).
ABSENCES: There are no refunds or adjustments made for missed classes. Tuition is based on enrollment, not attendance. We ask that parents please notify the office if your child will be missing class so we can inform their instructor.
