Before You Start to Dance
*When considering a cancelation, please remember we saved that time for you, and your teacher scheduled a spot for you. We have a 24-hour cancelation policy. No refunds, transfers, or extensions are available.
*Your group class guide to success is here! Progress depends on your consistency. Be prepared with proper attire, shoes, and a positive attitude. All private and group lessons have an expiration date. Packages require a minimum of one per week or more. Things happen, so if you have to miss, you can request a makeup class within one week. We will do our best to accommodate you but cannot guarantee.
*All group classes require pre-registration. If there are under 4 people, the class becomes a semi 1/2 private for no extra charge instead of a group.
*Each session is 45 minutes in length. Private lessons require weekly attendance. All combination group and private classes must be taken concurrently and not consecutively. Once your private lessons run out, your group classes are expired.

***Parents should arrive on time for drop-off and pick-up.
Leave your friends and guests at home.
We have performance opportunities so you can see your child or family member, friends progress on select dates.

*Personal Property
We are not responsible for loss or damage to personal property.

In the event that a student or teacher is ill, but is not suspected of having Covid-19:

1. The person must be symptom and fever free for at least 72 hours without the aid of fever reducing or any other medicine before returning to the studio.

2. A required note from their health care provider confirming that they are medically cleared to return will be mandatory.

Please seek your own healthcare provider's advice and availability of testing to determine if you have Covid-19 for the safety and security of everyone.

Below are the three self-assessment questions that should be reviewed before you attend class. If you answer yes to any of the questions below, you will need to provide a note from a qualified medical practitioner before you will be permitted to return to class.


Screening Questions Must be answered before each visit-

1) In the last 14 days, have you had any of the following COVID-19 related symptoms?

A fever of 100.0 or greater, or chills;
Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing;
New loss of taste or smell?
2) In the last 14 days, have you tested positive for COVID-19 or are required to be quarantined due to New York State Coronavirus travel restrictions? Visit https://coronavirus.health.ny.gov/covid-19-travel-advisory to see a list of states currently subject to quarantine.

3) In the last 14 days, have you had close contact with a currently confirmed or suspected COVID-19 case?

Private Lessons
Private lessons are 45 minutes in length. Private lessons skipped must be made up within one week or the hour will be charged.
Packages are based on one lesson minimum per week for the 10 session program.
For all larger programs, a minimum of 2 lessons per week is required to receive the discount.

Parents
Parents, please arrive on time for drop off and pick-up. We do not allow parents to stay in the room, as it makes the child uncomfortable and inhibits learning.
Please drop off and pick up your child only.
Leave your friends and guests at home.
We have performance opportunities so you can see your child or family member, friends progress on select dates.

**** For private lessons, teachers are not permitted to start late or go over time. If you need a change in your time slot, contact us using the above communication. We understand things happen, so let us know so we can assist with the changes needed. (Reminder we have a 24 hour cancellation policy)

Dance with us agreement

I authorize Dance With Us to use photos of myself/ my child for educational or promotional purposes in any type of media, including, but not limited to its website, Instagram, Facebook or twitter. You can opt out on your portal.

The Teachers/Owner is not responsible for any injuries that may occur in the classroom while the student is dancing. All precautions to safeguard the student are taken, including education of proper warm up and cool down techniques. The risk of
YES injuries resulting from the nature of the activity and can occur without fault of either the student, or dance studio, it’s employees/agents or the facility where the activity is taking place. By choosing to take part in this activity, you are accepting the risk that you/your child may be injured. The chance of an injury occurring can be reduced by carefully following instructions at all times while engaging in the activity. We have read the above. We understand that by participating in the activity we are assuming the risks.

I understand and agree to the payment plan as clearly explained on dancewithus.net. I understand that all payments must be made in full prior to the start of the first lesson on a package or a late fee of $25 will incur. I understand that there is a 24 hour cancelation policy in which my package will be charged should I not cancel prior to the 24 hour deadline. I understand that packages are non-refundable and non-transferable and expire within 3 months of purchase. Returned payments will be subject to an additional $35 fee. There are no extensions, transfers or extensions.
