STUDENT HANDBOOK
“We do not settle for mediocrity, but rather aspire passionately to reach our personal potential; that is, to Thrive. This is the essence of dance.”
A. General Information:
1. Class Levels and Placement:
Class placement is determined by an evaluation. Certain technical expectations according to the Thrive standard must be met in order to progress to the next level; no matter how many years of training one might have. Levels are by technical proficiency and not by age. Students will be individually placed in classes that best suit their personal needs. These decisions are made in the best interest of the dancers to create a solid technical foundation. Dancers should expect repetition as a cornerstone to advancement.
