Attendance
---------------
Dancers are expected to be prepared, dress appropriately and be on-time for class for the duration of their enrollment. Studio classes for the dance year run from September through June recital. All other classes, sessions and camps are per the dates listed. In order to remain in the level of the class, dancers should maintain good attendance. There is no refund or credit for missed classes for any reason, including illness and injury. Missed classes may be made up in a class of comparable placement within the currently enrolled session. For make-ups, please contact the studio to confirm class availability.

Payment Agreement
---------------------------
Payment is determined by the class, session, camp or program in which you or your child is participating. The tuition payment and the registration fee are due upon registration in order to secure class placement.

Studio Dhoom offers sibling and family discounts. The first class with the highest fee in the family is charged at full price. All other classes by the same student or other members of the family get a 5% discount.

There is a $15 fee for payment over 15 days late after the due date.

There is an Annual Registration Fee of $20 for all students for the dance year that runs from September through June. Each student only pays the registration fee once during the dance year. Studio Dhoom will provide free class videos for practices at home.

Costume and Recital Fees

Most dance classes offered will have a dance in the Annual Recital on stage. Studio Dhoom's Annual Recital is a professional quality production and a favorite for Studio Dhoom Dancers and families alike! Dancers perform on-stage at the end of the "Dance Year". Participation in the Recital is optional though highly encouraged. For participating dancers, Recital fees are due by Feb 1 of the current dance year. The $65 recital fee includes costume rental, jewelry rental (if included as part of costume), FREE video of the dancer's performance, and 4 tickets (including 1 for dancer) to the recital. For dancers in more than one dance, additional costume fee is $45. For families with more than one dancer, the recital fee is $45 per additional dancer. Recital and Costume fees are non-refundable after Feb 28th of the current dance year. In addition to the Annual Recital, Studio Dhoom dancers may have the opportunity to perform at many prestigious events, competitions and community events. Studio Dhoom will notify you of an upcoming performance opportunity and your participation is voluntary. There are nominal costume rental & performance fees associated with these additional performances and the fee is due before the performance. The fees may be adjusted periodically.

Inclement Weather and Holidays

Ashburn and other Loudoun County locations follow the Loudoun County Public School policy for inclement weather and Holidays. Chantilly, Herndon and other Fairfax County locations follow the Fairfax County Public School policy for inclement weather and holidays. Gainesville and other Prince William County locations follow the Prince William County Public School policy for inclement weather and holidays. Email will be our primary communication for closures and most Studio Dhoom notifications. Please make sure the email address on your customer portal is correct and that your system allows for incoming email from Studio Dhoom. We will also post information on our website at www.StudioDhoom.com and/or customer portal.

Studio Dhoom will be closed Labor Day, Evening only October 31, Thanksgiving Break, Winter Break, Spring Break and Fourth of July. Studio Dhoom will NOT be closed for any other Holidays, including Federal holidays on Mondays. Closing dates will be posted on www.StudioDhoom.com. Studio Dhoom classes held at private school locations may follow the calendar of the respective schools.

Refund and Withdrawal Policy

Tuition and Registration fee is due and charged at the time of registering in a class. You can choose to withdraw from a registered class on or until the first day of the class by notifying the studio director in writing. After the first day of class, any tuition and registration fees are non-refundable. For students enrolled in year round (non-advanced) classes, if they want to withdraw for the Spring session (January-June), you can withdraw by sending a written withdrawal request by December 15. No credit or refunds for missed classes. Make-up classes are allowed and must be made up during the current dance session. For Summer Camps, you can withdraw from a camp by May 25 of the camp year and we will refund the camp fee less $50. After May 25th, there will be no refunds for any camps.

Trials - You can signup for a no-obligation trial class without registering for the class. if you decide to enroll in the class after the trial, you can register for the class by paying the full tuition and registration fee. However, signing up for a trial class does not guarantee a spot in the class. If the class you signed up for a trial gets full, we will try our best to offer you other class options based on availability. To guarantee a spot in a particular class, you should complete the registration by paying the registration fee and tuition. If after the first class, you decide that you do not want to continue, we will issue a full refund including the registration fee and tuition as long as you notify the studio in writing on the day of the first class.

Photo Release

I give permission for myself and/or my child to be photographed (without compensation) during the course of Studio Dhoom LLC activities with the understanding that these photographs and/or videotapes may be used by Studio Dhoom LLC for promotional and advertising purposes as defined and authorized by Studio Dhoom LLC.

Medical Release
----------------------
The undersigned gives permission to Studio Dhoom LLC, its owners, directors, assistants, teachers and/or staff to seek medical treatment for the participant in the event they are not able to reach a parent or legal guardian. I hereby declare any physical/mental limitations, restrictions, or conditions and/or declare the participant to be in good physical and mental health. In the event medical care is needed, I give Studio Dhoom LLC Directors, Teachers, Staff and Assistants the permission to contact the nearest hospital or emergency service based on the medical situation.

Release of Liability

I understand and agree that in participating in any dance or fitness class, camps, after school programs, workshops, rehearsal or performance, there is a possibility of physical injury or death. I voluntarily agree, therefore, to assume all risks and responsibility for any such injury or accident, which might occur to me or my child during any Studio Dhoom LLC classes, camps, programs, rehearsals, performances or activities. I also exempt, release and indemnify Studio Dhoom LLC, its owners, directors, assistants, teachers, staff, volunteers and students from any damage, loss, injury or death to me, my children or property which may arise out of or in connections with participating in any class or activities conducted by Studio Dhoom LLC. I further hereby voluntarily agree to waive my rights and that of my heirs and assigns to hold Studio Dhoom LLC, its owners, directors, assistants, teachers, staff, volunteers and students liable for such damage, loss, injury or death. I understand that I should be aware of my physical limitations and agree not to exceed them. If I am signing this waiver for my children, I certify that I am the parent or legal guardian and have the right to waive these rights.

Makeup Class Policy

Make up Class Policy - For inclement weather, instructor medical leave or any unforeseen circumstances out of our control, we may have to cancel classes. We will offer a make up class every time a class is cancelled. We will try our best to offer the class at a time that is mutually convenient to a majority of students and the instructors. However, it may not be possible to fit every student's schedule for the make up class and some students may not be able to come to the make up class. Hence we will offer a recording that will be provided to the student via our app or portal. If nothing works, the student has the option to come to any of our other locations, or, another class of the same age group at the same location (if available). Therefore, students will have 3 options to make up the missed class. There will be absolutely no refund or credit issued for any missed make up classes that a student is not able to attend for any reason.

Refund Policy

However, if you are enrolled in a year round (Sep-Jun) class and have paid the full tuition and would like to withdraw for Jan-Jun session, you can let us know in writing by Dec 15 and we will issue a prorated refund for the remaining classes from January to June. By enrolling in Fall session, you are committing to at least the Sep-Dec classes and there are no refunds for those classes unless you notify us on the first day of the class. No credit or refunds for missed classes. Make-up classes are allowed and must be made up during the current dance session. For Summer Camps, you can withdraw from a camp by May 25 of the camp year and we will refund the camp fee less $50. After May 25th, there will be no refunds for any camps. For Afterschool, please refer to the Parent Handbook for withdrawal and refund policies.

COVID Policies
If the studio has to close due to Government orders or regulations, we will move to an online/virtual class model. We will provide class instruction for the remaining classes in the session via online classes. If we have to reduce the occupancy of the studio to comply with any new Government guidelines, all in-person students will be put on a rotating schedule to attend alternate classes in-person and online. No refunds or credits will be issued under any circumstances.
