Encounter Dance Company Terms and Conditions - Wavier Form
1. Permission is given for students to be photographed or video graphed by EDC staff, which may be used for advertising purposes including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Encounter Dance website.
2. Permission is given for your child to be filmed in the end of year showcase and for the video to be sold to Encounter Dance families.
3. A stocked first aid kit is accessible to all classes at all times. In the event of a medical emergency, if parents are unreachable, it is understood that the teacher reserves the right to call an ambulance and take whatever action they deem necessary.
4. Parents understand that some physical contact may be necessary by a teacher to demonstrate exercises or techniques.
5. If enrolment numbers fall below the viable number (Approx. 4-5) Encounter Dance Company reserves the right to cancel, shorten or transfer the class – fees paid will be credited.
6. There is no refund of fees for missed classes unless for significant medical reasons. Parents will not be reimbursed for costume levy payments if they decide to withdraw from a class after mid-year.
7. Term fees must be paid no later than 3 weeks into the term unless negotiated with EDC directors prior to the due date.
8. Parents are not authorised to view dance classes throughout the year unless invited by the teacher. Teachers have the right to ask parents to kindly leave the classroom.
9. All dancers dance at their own risk. Encounter Dance is not held responsible for injury of any degree.
10. Encounter Dance Company will take no responsibility for any loss or damage to personal property.
