COMMITMENT, MEMBERSHIP WAIVER & TUTION INSTALLMENTS
COMMITMENT
VW is a full season school that runs from August thru the following May each season. When a student enrolls for "school season classes", their place is held in class for the entire VW school year and are committed to attending lessons making monthly tuition installment payments through May 2023. Imagine That Camps, Mini-Mesters, Summer Workshop, Summer Intensive, and Winter Workshops, etc. are "all inclusive" of a short time period / tuition and due in FULL at time of Camp/Workshop/Intensive/Clinic. There are no refunds.
WITHDRAWING
If there is an unforeseen extenuating circumstance (I.e. moving out of state or a serious disability), a 30-day notice "Class Withdrawal" form must be filled out and delivered in person or via email to the studio office. You are still financially, responsible for tuition through May 2023. Early withdraw forfeits your position in our programming, performances and future roll-over membership discount, allowing other students to take priority enrollment. Leaving a voice message, telling a friend, or notifying a teacher are not acceptable forms of withdrawal.
TUITION
Tuition rates are for the full season (August-May, including studio holidays), not by the number of classes in the month. A full "school season" of dance includes a minimum of 32 lessons. Tuition fees are paid monthly, divided into 10 equal monthly installments. Camps, Mini-Masters & Workshops are all inclusive / one full tuition payment and due at time of enrollment. There are no refunds.
After enrolling (paying your membership fee), monthly tuition (August-May) must be paid via automatic bank account debit (ACH) or automatic credit/debit card payment. Tuition will be debited from your ACH account (or charged to your credit/debit card) on the 1st day of each month (August-May).
Imagine That Camps, Summer Workshop, Summer Intensive, and Winter Workshops, etc. are "all inclusive" tuition and due in FULL at time of Camp/Workshop/Intensive/Clinic. Tuition is non-refundable and non-transferable.
RESCHEDULING AND SUBSTITUTION
Villa West reserves the right to provide a substitute teacher if the regular teacher is ill or is otherwise unable to teach. VW reserves the right to reschedule or combine classes. VW reserves the right to move to a virtual classroom platform should a facility closure be necessary.
REFUNDS/CREDIT ON ACCOUNT
Refunds are only issued when VW cancels a class due to low enrollment. Account credit will be issued when the student initiates the schedule change. Credit will be applied to any VW tuition or fees due within one year. There are no refunds for costume purchases.
ROLL-OVER MEMBERSHIP REGISTRATION
On April 20, the annual membership registration fee ($75 per family) will automatically process for all student accounts. This provides “early-registration” access to select your preferred class day/times for the fall season before we open registration to the community.
Opting out - if you wish to opt out of continued training in the next season, stop at the desk to fill out a written “Opt-Out” form BEFORE APRIL 20 and your yearly membership fee will NOT be processed.
Class placement is based on age and grade student will be entering in the fall unless otherwise noted in a class recommendation from your instructor.
AUTHORIZATION & WAIVER
I have read and understand all Villa West Performing Arts Center policies; and will take the responsibility to carefully follow the rules and policies therein. I understand that Villa West Performing Arts Center does not give credit and/or refunds for class(es) missed due to holiday, vacation, illness, weather, etc.
I understand that my child may be photographed or video recorded for training purpose, safety assurance, and/or possible advertisement. I may opt out of participation in advertisement (use of my Child's picture in advertising) by writing the front office.
I further understand that there are specific risks of physical or property damages, losses, or injury and illness that may result from my or my child’s participation with Villa West Dance & Acrobatics, LLC, and I voluntarily assume the risks associated with such participation.
