Please go through the following expectations with your child and tick the box to agree for them to follow the rules stated
As a member of Sylk Dance Academy I agree to follow the rules below:
• I will arrive to my class on time wearing my Sylk Dance uniform, and with appropriate footwear and hair (hair up for gymnastics, tricks and cheer)
• I will treat the studio with respect i.e. keeping hands and feet off the walls and mirrors, putting rubbish in the bin and being sensible with any equipment
• I will welcome new members and be open to working with new people.
• I understand that bullying is not acceptable and all Sylk members should be able to enjoy a positive experience in every class.
• I will treat my class members with respect and not engage in any physical or rough play.
• I will treat all dance teachers and staff members with respect and listen to their instructions
• I will notify the teacher if I see anything damaged or misused at the studio
• I will notify the teacher if I am feeling unhappy or need help in any way
• I will put 100% effort in to my class to allow me to get the best results. I understand that difficult moves take time and I must have patience and persevere.
• I will not leave the studio without the permission of my class teacher, and I will not exit at the end of my class unless I have someone there to collect me (unless children are aged 11+ and permission has been given by parents)
