TUITION/FEES
Seasonal session classes - Tuition is due in full at registration and is non-refundable.
The tuition fees only apply to the Performance Group (September-June).
1. Registration and Tuition Payments are Non-Refundable. Tuition will not be pro-rated for missed classes.
2. A registration fee of $30 is required per year (August - July) and is due at the time of registration.
3. Performance Group tuition includes 32 classes, performance costume/tights/accessories, end-of-the-year t-shirt, medal, and a digital download of the showcase performance.
4. Tuition is based on a full year broken into 10 payments for convenience. The 1st payment is due at registration. The remaining 9 payments are due on the 1st of the month October-June.
5. A late fee of $20 will be added on the 11th of each month for any account with a past-due balance.
6. Performance Group account balances must be paid in full to participate in the annual showcase. Any account that is 60 days past due will be sent to a professional collection agency.
WITHDRAW/REFUNDS
1. To discontinue classes, you must notify the school with written notice, either in person or by email.
2. No withdrawals will be accepted during the 1st month of classes or after April 1, 2025.
3. If written notice is given BEFORE the 15th of the month all future billing will stop. If written notice is given ON or AFTER the 15th of the month, the next month’s installment will be due and considered your last payment.
4. There are no refunds or credits for holidays, vacations, illness, weather, etc.
5. There are no refunds for Seasonal Session classes.
6. Registration Fees and Tuition are non-refundable for any reason.
7. Private Lesson Cancellation Policy - All private lessons canceled within 24 hours will receive a make-up class or account credit. No-show lessons or lessons canceled with less than 24 hours' notice will not be made up and charged for the lesson.
CANCELLATION
1. Performance Group classes are guaranteed to receive 32 lessons. Seasonal Sessions are guaranteed to receive 8 lessons.
2. If for any reason, classes are canceled on behalf of Danbury Dynamic Dance & Fitness LLC, a make-up class will not be given unless the guaranteed number of lessons will not be met.
3. Cancellation announcements are distributed by email and announced on our voicemail at least two hours before class start time.
4. DDF Danbury reserves the right to reschedule or combine classes.
5. DDF Danbury reserves the right to provide a substitute or replacement teacher as deemed necessary.
6. DDF Danbury reserves the right to deliver class content via an online system in the event classes are not able to be conducted live for any reason, including government advisory.
ATTENDANCE
1. Regular attendance is vital to a student's progress and for group choreography. A minimum attendance level will be required.
2. Dancers who miss more than 2 of the last 8 classes before the Showcase may be dismissed from participating in the Showcase routine at the discretion of the teacher.
DRESS CODE
1. Required dance wear and dance shoes must be worn to all classes and must be in good condition.
2. Failure to wear required dancewear to class could result in students being asked to sit and observe the class. Repeated failure to wear required dancewear could result in the termination of lessons.
3. Students are not permitted to wear street shoes to any dance class, including hip-hop classes.
4. For safety reasons dancers must remove all jewelry before participating in classes.
