Tuition cost is $60.00 for the first class, $80.00 for two classes, and $10.00 for each additional class. For 2 children (in the same household) tuition is $95.00 for 1 class each and $10.00 for each additional class. Please ask about 3 or more children and combo classes. Tuition remains the same whether it is a long (5 lesson) month or a short (3 lesson) month and regardless of absences. Tuition is not prorated for holiday months. Tuition is based on a 10-month season and payments are broken down monthly. TUITION IS DUE ON THE 1ST OF EVERY MONTH. Tuition may be paid by cash, check or credit/debit card. A late fee of $25.00 will be added to your account on the 7th of the month. Cash payments are encouraged to be the exact amount, as we usually do not have change. STUDENTS WITH DELINQUENT ACCOUNTS OF 30 DAYS OR MORE WILL BE DISMISSED. Accounts must be paid in full to participate in the recital or to register for a new dance season
RECITAL FEE:
Every family is required to pay a $130.00 recital fee that will be due the first of February. The fee covers 8 recital tickets, theater rental, staff etc.
COSTUME FEES:
Costume prices range from $60.00 and up depending on the style and size. We do our best to keep expenses down while also ensuring a great looking costume. Costume fees are spilt into two payments. A deposit of $40.00 per student per class is due September 17th. The remaining balance will be due on NOVEMBER 1ST. COSTUME FEES ARE NONREFUNDABLE. COSTUMES WILL NOT BE ORDERED WITHOUT FULL PAYMENT. Costumes are ordered in mid to late November, and without payment, costumes can NOT be ordered. There are additional charges for extra-large sized children and adult costumes. We order from many different costume companies and after measuring each student we compare measurements to each company’s size chart. Costumes are not custom made to individual measurements. We order the size that best suits your child’s measurement. We welcome input from the parent/guardian as to what size you many want ordered but the must be done prior to November 14th. There are no exchanges, returns or refunds on costumes, even if you have dropped that class. You are also responsible for all and any alterations that need to be made to the costumes. Note- Students are responsible for purchasing additional accessories for recital (i.e. shoes, tights, hair pieces etc.)
Ingram School of Dance will apply a $35.00 NSF fee for any returned check. We ask if this occurs you pay the balance as soon as possible by cash or money order.
ABSENCES:
There are no refunds or credits given if a student is absent from class. You can make-up classes. If your usual instructor is absent, another qualified member of our staff will be available to substitute the lesson. If the substitute cannot be provided, the class will be rescheduled by the instructor.
TERMINATION OF LESSONS:
To withdraw from lessons a parent/guardian must inform the front desk or Miss Alicia. You must give a 30 days’ notice when withdrawing from classes. If 30 days is not given, you will still be responsible for the next month’s tuition.
~PLEASE NOT THAT A STUDENT WILL BE CONSIDERED A STUDENT AND BILLED ACCORDINGLY UNTIL THE OFFICE IS NOTIFIED. YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY BALANCE THAT IS DUE. ~
HOLIDAYS:
Our lesson schedule follows most of OFISD break. Although there are some exceptions. Lessons will NOT be held on Halloween, Thanksgiving week, Christmas break, Spring break, Good Friday, or MLK day.
All tuition is due by the 1st of the month. A late fee of $25.00 will be added to your account on the 7th of the month. To avoid this from happening, please sign up for automatic payments. Any dancer who pays for their entire year of tuition up front will receive a 10% discount.We, the staff at Ingram School of Dance, recognize our obligation to make sure our students and their parents are aware of the risks and hazards involved in the sport of dance. By signing this waiver, you release Ingram School of Dance and all its employees from all claims on account of any injury which may be sustained by you or your child while attending any dance class, event or outside performance. In signing this waiver, you also acknowledge your responsibility in paying monthly tuition, any associated costume fees, recital fees, and all other communicated costs involved. You acknowledge if your dancer withdrawals, you are responsible for your account balance at the time. Ingram School of Dance reserves the right to terminate lessons to any student without notice. In such case, a refund for unused lessons will be given. Ingram School of Dance reserves the right to change policies as needed. Students will be notified of changes when they occur.
I, (parent) have read through all payment information, deadlines, rules and regulations, etc. very carefully and accept the terms of this contract. As a parent, I am fully aware of the responsibilities I have when it comes to the financial aspect of my dancer. I know that if any time throughout the year I have a question or issue I can seek answers from the owner Alicia Whitaker, and answers will be provided to me. I understand I will be responsible for monthly tuition , that is due on the 1st of every month and if not paid by the 7th a late fee of $25.00 will be added to my account. I understand costume deposits are due by September 17th and the balance is due November 1st. I understand without full payment of costume fees, my child’s costumes will not be ordered.
This signature below signifies that I have read and agree to the attached policies and authorize Ingram School of Dance to charge my card on any open balance on the 1st of each month. This includes tuition, late fees, NSF fees, recital fee, costumes fees.
I give permission for Ingram School of Dance to use my child's photo in social media posts.
