Ingram School of Dance Release form
1. All waiting areas are closed. Parents and siblings must wait in their cars instead of the lobby. Except for dancers in our Wednesday 4:30 and 5:00 class.
2. Parents must conduct their own health assessment of their dancer prior to arriving at ISD. Dancers may not enter the facility if they are exhibiting any symptoms or have been exposed to COVID-19.
3. Dancers should not enter the building until their exact class time. They may wait in their car outside upon arrival until their class time. A staff member will open the door before each class. The door will be locked during each class to ensure no one enters without sanitizing. A staff member will escort dancers outside when class is over.
4. Dancers need to arrive to the studio in dance clothes. There will be no changing allowed in the bathrooms.
5. Dancers 10 and up will need to wear a mask to enter and exit the building. They will NOT be required to wear one during class.
6. ALL staff members will be wearing a mask at all times.
7. Dancers are required to sanitize their hands upon entering the building. There are sanitizing stations set up in the lobby.
8. The drinking fountain will be closed until further notice. Dancers are encouraged to bring their own personal water bottle from home. Keep in mind there will be no place to refill the water bottles so dancers may need to use a bigger water bottle than they are used to.
9. There will be no eating in the studio. Dancers should not bring any food or snacks into the building. (The only food allowed is what is provided during the Summer Camp for ages 3-9)
10. Classes will be dismissed 5 minutes early to allow time to sanitize the floor between classes. If your child is in consecutive classes, they will be asked to sit in the studio while staff members clean.
11. If your child has a break between classes, they will be asked to leave and return for their next class.
12. The lost and found has been removed. Anything left at the studio at the end of the night will be thrown away.
13. If parents have any questions with which they need staff assistance, they are encouraged to call 409-466-8236 or email aliciawhitaker1202@yahoo.com instead of entering the facility in person. If a parent needs to come into the building to make a payment or sign something, they should call the office first to make sure no one is at the front desk currently.
