M2 Dance Company Fundraising Policies & Procedures
Welcome to M2 Dance Companies Fundraising Year!
Fundraising is available to all current M2 Dance Company dancers. The purpose of fundraising is to help defray dance costs associated with M2 Dance Company.
As per the following.
• Costumes
• Competition Fees
• Apparel
• Travel - Dance Trips that are in addition to the regular dance season

*Participation in all fundraising is completely optional. This is not mandatory and you have the choice of choosing what fundraisers if any you want to participate in.
*Some fundraisers will be first come first serve. Any fundraising money earned less 10% admin fee will be applied directly to your dancers account.
1. All fundraising monies earned have no cash value and may only be applied to your account.
2. Fundraising payout sheets must be signed and submitted before payment will be applied to your account.
3. If you no longer dance with M2 Dance Company and you have a fundraising credit, you may donate this to another dancer who is currently with M2 Dance Company.
4. M2 Dance Company will be taking a 10% administration fee from every fundraiser on each person’s total earned. The remainder will be applied to your dancer’s account.
5. Every fundraiser will have a lead person assigned to it. This person will be responsible for the total fundraiser from start to finish.
6. Any breaks during a shift will be determined by the lead person. Depending on the fundraiser breaks may not be an option if they undermine an event.
7. No alcohol to be consumed during a fundraiser. Smoking is only allowed on breaks if time allows.
8. If there are still unfilled shifts 7 days prior to the fundraising event an M2 Dance Company representative will fill the position.
9. Certain fundraisers allow for children to help out (example: Wainwright rodeo popcorn sales) however children must be accompanied and supervised by a working adult.
10. No Children under the age of 18 years may accompany or work any event (example wedding bar, Wainwright rodeo beer sales) that serves alcohol.
11. If you decide to cancel out of a shift you have already signed up for, the responsibility is yours to find a replacement. Only exception: Is last minute emergency which will then become the responsibility of the lead person to fill.
14. M2 Dance Company will be following up on each worked fundraiser to make sure the standard job was completed to a highness of workmanship. Remember: We get more jobs if our reputation is stellar!
