While enhanced safety measures & precautions are being taken at Moonstar Dance Studio “an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to death. According to the Center for Disease Control & Prevention, senior citizens & guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable. By coming to Moonstar Dance Studio, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.” All classes will continue to follow the policy in place to drop a class.
If we were to get shut down again by the governor, we would continue to hold classes via online through Zoom. If the shutdown were to last more than 2 weeks, a modification to the current schedule could happen, but tuition would remain the same. If your dancer is under the age of 6 and signed up for in person classes and we do get shut down for more than 2weeks, those dancers will be given the option to freeze their account. We understand that children 6 and under have a harder time participating through Zoom.
If a student were to test positive for Covid-19, we will close the affected studio down for 24hrs for an additional deep clean. During that time, the classes held in that specific studio will be offered via Zoom. The students that came into contact with the positive case would be notified and need to quarantine at home for 14 days, while being able to access their dance classes via Zoom. Please see our website for a detailed description.
We are doing everything possible to make it safe for all of our dancers.
