POLICIES AND FEES
The annual registration fee is $20.00 per student. The registration fee is due at the time of enrollment. (2nd child in Family $15.00, 3rd child in Family $10.00, 4 or more Free)

PAYMENT SCHEDULE
TUITION IS DUE ON THE FIRST WEEK OF EACH MONTH
Any payments received after the first week will be charged a non-refundable $10.00 late fee.
A $30.00 fee will be charged for any returned checks. Students may be dropped from classes if tuition remains over 30 days unpaid.
NO REFUNDS ON TUITON OR REGISTRATION FEES. TUITION WILL NOT BE
PRO-RATED

ANNUALLY
TUITON PAID ANNUALLY WILL BE DISCOUNTED 10%, SEMI- ANNUAL 5%.
TO OBTAIN THE DISCOUNT, TUITION MUST BE PAID IN FULL AT REGISTRATION.

PAYMENT METHODS
PAYMENTS MAY BE MADE BY CASH, CHECK, OR MONEY ORDERS. ANY CHECK RETURNED BY THE BANK UNPAID WILL INCUR A $30.00 CHARGE. ONLY CASH OR MONEY ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED IN PAYMENT OF THESE CHARGES.
TUITION IS BASED ON APPROXIMATELY FOUR LESSONS PER MONTH. THERE IS NO EXTRA CHARGE OF MONTHS WITH FIVE LESSONS NOR IS THERE A REDUCTION OR REFUND FOR ANY CLASSES MISSED OR MONTHS WITH HOLIDAYS. STATEMENTS WILL NOT BE SENT UNLESS ACCOUNT IS PAST DUE. STUDENT WITHDRAWLS
YOU ARE RESPONISBLE FOR PAYMENT OF TUITION UNTIL YOU NOTIFY THE DANCE ACADEMY OF YOUR INTENT TO WITHDRAWL FROM A CLASS. CHARGES WILL CONTINUE UNTIL WE RECEIVE NOTIFICATIONS OF THE DROP.
HOLIDAY CLOSING
WE WILL CLOSE FOR LABOR DAY, THANKSGIVING, CHRISTMAS, NEW YEARS, SPRING BREAK, EASTER, AND MEMORIAL DAY IN CONJUNTION WITH THE SCHOOL SCHEDULES. CLOSING DATES WILL BE POSTED AS THEY OCCUR.
CANCELING CLASS.
WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CANCEL ANY CLASS AT ANY TIME DUE TO INSUFFICIENT ENROLLMENT FOR THAT PARTICULAR TIME. IF THIS OCCURS, A NEW CLASS TIME WILL BE ARRANGED FOR YOU.
ATTENDANCE.

STUDENTS SHOULD BE DROPPED OFF AND PICKED UP WITHIN 10 MINUTES OF THEIR CLASS TIME. STUDENTS NEED TO ATTEND ALL CLASSES UNLESS THERE IS AN ILLNESS OR FAMILY EMERGENCY, AS ABSENCES AFFECT THE CLASS AS A WHOLE. MAKE-UP LESSONS CAN BE TAKEN WITHIN THE PAID CALENDAR MONTH IN A CLASS OF COMPARABLE LEVEL. PARENTS AND STUDENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR CONTACTING STUDIO OFFICE TO FIND OUT INFORMATION THEY HAVE MISSED DURING AN ABSENCE. NO MAKE-UP LESSONS ARE GIVEN AT THE END OF THE DANCE SEASON AS RECITAL PREPARATIONS ARE IN PROCESS.

PERSONAL PROPERTY
BE SURE TO LABEL YOUR DANCEWEAR SO WE CAN RETURN IT TO YOU IF LEFT AT THE STUDIO. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST, STOLEN, OR DAMAGED ARTICLES OF CLOTHING, JEWELRY, AND/OR OTHER PERSONAL PROPERTY.

NEWSLETTER
YOU WILL RECEIVE A NEWSLETTER PERIODICALLY. PLEASE READ THEM AND KEEP THEM FOR THE FUTURE REFERENCES. THE NEWSLETTER WILL HELP US GET IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO THE PARENTS.

CLASS POLICY
ALL CLASSES BEGIN AND END ON TIME. DANCERS SHOULD BE PROMPT TO ALLOW FOR PROPER WARM-UP AND CONDTIONING. FOR SAFETY ANYONE ARRIVING LATER THAN 15 MINUTES INTO THE CLASS MAY NOT BE PERMITTED TO PARTICIPATE. NO GUM CHEWING IN CLASS, AS IT MAY LEAD TO CHOKING. PLEASE NOTE, DRESS CODE IS STRICTLY ENFORCED. BAGGY CLOTHES MAY IMPACT PROPER RESPIRATION AND CAUSE THE BODY TO OVERHEAT. LONG HAIR SHOULD BE SECURED BACK FROM THE FACE AND NECK. DANCE SHOES SHOULD BE WORN INDOORS ONLY. NO JEWELRY WILL BE WORN IN CLASS.

DRESS CODE
BALLET CLASS—BLACK LEOTARD, TIGHTS—BLACK OR PINK, BALLET SHOES
TAP AND JAZZ CLASSES—LEOTARDS, TIGHTS, DANCE PANTS, SPORTS BRAS, BIKE SHORTS, AND/OR SHORT T-SHIRTS.
DANCEWEAR MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES—NO SHORTS OR T-SHIRTS. IF DANCEWEAR IS NOT WORN THE STUDENT WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE CLASS AT THAT TIME. YOU WILL HAVE UNTIL THE MIDDLE OF SEPTEMBER TO GET ALL OF THE NECESSARY ITEMS FOR THE DANCE CLASS. PARENTS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO WATCH CLASS—THERE WILL BE A TIME EACH MONTH THAT YOU WILL ALLOWED TO WATCH YOUR CHILD IN HIS OR HER DANCE CLASS.
THE STUDIO USES HANDS ON TRAINING. IF A STUDENT NEEDS TO BE CORRECTED IN THE PLACEMENT OF THE FEET, ARMS, AND/OR BODY WE WILL DO THE NECESSARY CORRECTIONS.
THE STUDIO RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REMOVE ANY STUDENT FROM THE DANCE ACADEMY. THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS OR CREDITS GIVEN AT ANY TIME
RECITAL
AT THE END OF THE SCHOOL YEAR, WE WILL HAVE A RECITAL THERE IS A $10.00 NON-REFUNDABLE RECITAL FEE DUE FEBURARY 1ST. THIS FEE COVERS THE COST OF THE AUDITORIUM, PROGRAMS, TECHNICIANS, AND OTHER COSTS.

COSTUMES
STUDENTS WHO PARTICIPATE IN THE RECITAL WILL BE REQUIRED TO PURCHASE ONE COSTUME PER CLASS. THE STUDIO WILL ORDER COSTUMES EARLY JANUARY. THE ESTIAMATE OF THE COST FOR THE COSTUMES ARE BETWEEN $70.00 AND $125.00.00 EACH. A $100.00 COSTUME DEPOSIT (PER CLASS) IS DUE NOVEMBER 30TH. ONCE THE COSTUME HAS BEEN ORDERED, THERE IS NO REFUND OR CANCELLATION. NO COSTUME WILL BE ORDERED UNTIL FULL PAYMENT IS RECEIVED. DEPENDING UPON THE COSTUME DESIGN, YOU MAY BE REQUIRED TO PURCHASE ADDITIONAL ACCESSORIES SUCH AS TIGHTS, BOWS, AND OTHER ACCESSORIES.
