Take a Bow Dance Center Policies/Contract

Attendance
Students must be on time for class! Students who come late to class may be asked to sit out and observe. Dancers must participate in class warm up! Lack of warm up could result in injury. The instructor will use their personal judgment to make this call.
A minimum attendance level is required. Please call the studio if your child is going to miss more than one class. We understand last minute things come up; however notice of your child’s absence is preferred.

Make Up Classes
No refunds will be given for missed classes. If you are interested in making up a class due to absence or inclement weather closings, please see the front desk.

Bathroom
Take a Bow Dance Center has one bathroom within the building. Parents, please allow time for your children to use the bathroom before class as to not delay and/or disrupt instruction.

Door Policies
To ensure safety of our students and staff, when there is a class in session and no one in the front lobby the front door will remain locked. The door will be unlocked once class has concluded.

Cell Phone Policy
All cell phones will be collected before class and placed at the front desk. Dancers may look at their phones during water breaks or between classes.

Food Policy
No food or flavored drinks will be allowed into the studio. Water bottles only.

Parent Responsibility
It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to be aware of all studio activities, such as event dates, extra classes, and dates the studio is open or closed. Take a Bow Dance Center will post notices and information on our website, facebook fan page, through emails, and inside the facility. It is the parent’s responsibility to check with the studio office or Take a Bow Dance Center’s website to ensure they are informed. It is also the parent’s responsibility to inform us of any email address, home address or telephone number change. If you are not receiving emails you must contact our office.

Student Responsibility
It is the responsibility of the dancers to show up to class ready to focus and work. Dancers must attend class in the appropriate attire; that means proper dress, proper shoes and hair up and out of the face. It is the responsibility of the dancer to ask questions if they need help and to not be afraid of critique. Dancers must also remember that dance is a discipline and requires dedication and commitment. They must ALWAYS try their best!
