Le Pas de Danse Fall 2021 Covid Safety Protocols
(Protocols are subject to change based on the pandemic response level)
1. PLEASE SELF SCREEN! We ask that if students have even mild symptoms of a Flu: Cough, fever, runny nose, sore throat, breathing problems, vomiting or diarrhea that they please stay home.
2. Parents and students entering and exiting to please maintain physical distancing as much as possible.
3. Masks on when entering/exiting the building and in the lobby. Masks are parent's preference during strenuous exercise.
4. Kids ages 9 and under may be accompanied by one adult (with infants in arms). Ages 10 and up drop off only.
5. All students are required to sanitize or wash their hands before participating in programming.
6. Class sizes are reduced and class structure may be changed slightly to accommodate keeping a 6 foot distance between dancers in class. Dots on Studio and Gym Floors will help Aid this.
7. Studios will be cleaned after every class. Students may be dismissed 5 minutes early to ensure adequate time for organized exit and cleaning.
8. Storage of coats/dance bags will be spread out to several areas within the lobby as much as possible to allow students to prepare for classes and maintain physical distancing.
9. The lobby area will have restricted capacity and markings to indicate distanced seating. At this time, we ask that you exit promptly after your child’s class.
10. High touch areas will be sanitized daily.
11. Teachers will avoid hands-on corrections and will use appropriate PPE when distance cannot be maintained.
12. Coffee area, toy areas will be temporarily dismantled to aid with physical distancing. Chairs will be available for the one adult attending younger dancers.
13. Dancers who need help with their dance attire/body suit specifically for toileting or need any toileting help must have an adult stay in the lobby to attend to this (even if/when Covid 19 is not an issue).
14. Both Restrooms will now be family washrooms for 1 person at a time Or one household at a time. PLEASE Close Door, when in Use.

Le Pas de Danse Studio has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19; however, Le Pas de Danse Studio cannot guarantee that you or your child(ren) will not become infected with COVID-19. Attending any public spaces increases your risk and your child(ren)’s risk of contracting COVID-19. By signing this agreement, I acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assume the risk that my child(ren) and I may be exposed to or infected by COVID-19 by attending Le Pas de Danse Studio and that such exposure or infection may result in personal injury, illness, permanent disability, and death. I understand that the risk of becoming exposed to or infected by COVID-19 at Le Pas de Danse Studio may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of myself and others, including, but not limited to, Le Pas de Danse Studio employees, volunteers, and program participants and their families. I voluntarily agree to assume all of the foregoing risks and accept sole responsibility for any injury to my child(ren) or myself (including, but not limited to, personal injury, disability, and death), illness, damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense, of any kind, that I or my child(ren) may experience or incur in connection with my child(ren)’s attendance at Le Pas de Danse Studio or participation in programs at Le Pas de Danse Studio. On my behalf, and on behalf of my children, I hereby release, covenant not to sue, discharge, and hold harmless Le Pas de Danse Studio, its employees, agents, and representatives, of and from the Claims, including all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating thereto. I understand and agree that this release includes any claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of Le Pas de Danse Studio, its employees, agents, and representatives, whether a COVID-19 infection occurs before, during, or after participation in any Dance Studio program. I have read, understand, and agree to the above terms of participation and the assumption of risk of participation and release all liability.
