FEE PAYMENT
1. Fees are taken via Auto Pay on the 1st of every month set up through your Dance Studio Pro Portal. If a student starts mid month a pro-rata payment will be taken to
the end of the month. Payments will then continue on the 1st of every month. Fees will be taken from the card attached to your file.

2. Fees are worked out over 12 monthly payments rather than the amount of classes in the month. This means that fees remain the same each month including over half term breaks but
makes this more affordable throughout the year. This includes a payment in the month of August.
3. Discounts or refunds are not given to students who miss classes.
4.The academy should receive fees on the first of every month. Any late payments will incur a surcharge of £10 to cover admin costs and failed transactions will incur a £2.50 surcharge to cover the bank charge for this. If fees are unpaid, students will be unable to take part in class until the months direct debit is rectified.

5. If in the unlikely event that Premier Drama Academy are required to cancel a class, which was not planned, the fees for this class will be deducted from the following month’s fees.

6. We offer a £5 7 day class pass for new students and free tasters in additional classes for current students.
7. All fees are non-refundable. If a pupil has a long-term illness or injury, fees may be refunded at the Principal’s discretion. This does not include minor illness, injuries, parties or holidays taken during the term.

CLASSES AND ATTENDANCE
8. The Academy will not be held responsible for classes cancelled for circumstances beyond the Academy control. If it is necessary to cancel a class due to adverse weather conditions,
extreme measures, global pandemics or if a child cannot attend a class due to their participation in another Premier Drama Academy performance/exam/event, class fees will not be refunded.

9. Students must arrive for their class 5 minutes before the start time and must be picked up on time - late collection fees may be charged if this involves staff staying late.

10. Due to the safeguarding of our students, parents/guardians/visitors are unable to watch classes or wait in the building except during 'Parent Viewing Weeks' which are scheduled
throughout the year.
11. Students under the age of 14 must be collected from the studio by a parent/carer or responsible adult. The teacher must be informed if persons other than the child’s emergency
contacts will collect the child. Students under this age will not be permitted to leave unattended unless a written document (email/letter) has been given to the Receptionist or teacher prior to the lesson.
ILLNESS

12. Our sickness policy runs very close with a school sickness policy. Not every illness requires that your child does not attend class however it is important that students do not
attend in the following circumstances:

- Raised Temperature -
They can attend 24 hours after they feel better.
- Rash -
A rash can be the first sign of many infectious diseases including chickenpox and measles. If a student has a rash, check with a GP before bringing them back to class and please notify the teacher about this.
- Vomiting & Diarrhoea -
Do not attend until at least 48 hours after the symptoms have gone.
- Chickenpox -
If a child has chickenpox please do not attend until all spots have crusted over.
12.2. Absences should be logged through your parent portal before the class commences.
13. If your child is unable to attend due to illness but would like to watch or take part virtually, please contact us at least 4 hours before the class to enable us to put this in place. We will always try to ensure that this request is fulfilled however if contact is made once classes are running that day this may not always be possible.
WITHDRAWAL POLICY
14. Students wishing to discontinue any class at Colman Creative Academy must give a full calendar months notice (30 days) in writing (email/letter). If a full calendar month’s notice is not given a month's fees will be charged and must be paid.
15. As payments are split over the year a final balance will be totalled (classes enrolled against payment made) and a settlement fee may be required. This will be taken on the 1st of the following month.
A full calendar month's notice is defined as 30 days from CPremier Drama Academy receiving the written document. I.e. If notice was given on the 15th April fees would need to
be paid up until the 14th May. This may result in a pro-rata payment for the final balance.
CORRECTIONS
16. Dancing is a physical skill and in order to help and facilitate the student’s learning, the teacher may physically guide a movement by touch. This will be in a professional manner and the intention of the contact will be made clear. More information on this can be found on our Safe Touch policy found at https://www.premier-drama-academy.co.uk/forparents
EXAMINATIONS & ASSESSMENTS
17. Premier Drama Academy offers examinations through the NEA & ISTD syllabus. Entry for any examination is at the discretion of the class teacher and the Principal. If you are interested in these then please speak to your class teacher. Examinations are not compulsory but are encouraged. Students wanting to participate in examinations must attend a minimum of classes each week. This must include the exam preparation class.

18. Dance assessments are scheduled once a year in each syllabus class. These are compulsory, enabling teachers and the principal to track progress of each student throughout the year. Assessments occur a £5.50 fee per assessment and this is charged to your account at the start of the term of the assessment. Payments for assessments will be made clear before the assessment and assessment dates for the upcoming year can be found on the term dates sheet given upon enrolment or the new academic year and on our website and app calendar.
