2023-2024 Studio Policies
Classes will begin Monday, September 12th 2023
Rachael’s Dance Unlimited L.L.C. reserves the right to place any student in the appropriate class if technical dance steps are not accomplished
Registration fee: A $40.00 Registration fee per student is due at time of registration. Students are not officially registered until the fee is paid and necessary forms are completed and signed.
Monthly fees: All accounts are charged by the dance year. The amount due each month is the dance year divided into 8 months. Payments are due for the months of September, October, November, December, January, February, March and April. Payment due date is the 10th of each month or a $10.00 accruing late fee will be applied to your account. We accept, cash, check or credit card. If paying by cash, please make sure you get a receipt. You will be charged $45.00 for any returned checks . If you have any questions about your payments, please call the studio 570-748-5711. We will not accept payments outside of the dance studio. You must come in (we have a payment box at the front door) or mail your payment.
Costume Payment: ( November 1st 2023 and will be charged to your account)
4 year old and Kindergarten classes : $85.00
1st though 3rd grade classes: $95.00 per class
4th grade and up: $100.00 per class
Hip Hop classes do not require a costume deposit
Costume deposits are non-refundable.
Recital Performance Keepsake Package: Each family will be applied a $75 fee for the recital videos (2 shows) and a recital t-shirt. There will be an option to purchase addition shirts for siblings and family members at a later date. The Recital Fee must be paid by March 1, 2024.
Early Cancellation Agreement: A registered student has until October 30th, 2023 to drop out of a class. A Written notice is required! If a class is dropped after October 30th, 2023 your account will be charged a cancellation fee of ½ of the class’s remaining yearly fee. The Drop out fee date will take effect when written notice is received. If written notice is not received, you will be responsible for the remaining full payments. The cancellation fee is due at the time of cancellation or you will be held responsible for the full monthly payments. Dropping a class before October 30th, 2023 will not require a cancellation fee.
Shoes: All shoes must be fitted by a staff member and purchased directly from Rachael’s Dance Unlimited online store at https://www.shopnimbly.com/rachaelsdanceunlimited. Emails will be sent out for shoe fitting dates/times.
Timing/Attire: For the benefit of all, we ask that all students be on time and properly dressed for class. Jewelry and street clothes are unacceptable. Long hair must be pulled back. All ballet, pre-toe, pointe, lyrical and contemporary students must wear tights, leotard and a skirt/dance dress. No other type of other clothing is permitted. These items are available in our online store. Hip Hop classes will need sneakers with no traction such as: Adidas, vans, converse for studio use only, long pants and knee pads.
Snow and Inclement Weather: In the event of bad weather please check our Facebook page at Rachael’s Dance Unlimited or Rachael’s Dance Unlimited Dancers for cancellations. (If you are not a member please be sure to send us a request so you can be added to our page). If unsure, please do not risk driving. If Keystone Central School District cancels or closes early classes are automatically cancelled. Monthly payments will remain the same and are due by the 15th of the month. If there are numerous cancellations, classes will be made up to the best of our ability. You will be notified of make-up classes. Please cooperate with the schedule and be ready to make the necessary arrangements.
