Class Etiquette

All parents must support our class etiquette policy (which is posted on the walls of each dance room):

Each dancer must understand the following:

*No Talking during instruction

*No Food during class instruction or excusing to eat without instructor's consent

*Go to the toilet before class, during their break, or after class. Disrupting or ending classes for class bathroom breaks is not acceptable.

* SAFETY FIRST! No horse playing in class or inside of the studio for any reason. The studio is not marketed as a park, a fun house, or a play house. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!! The dancer will be dismissed if they cannot follow the studio rules!

*SAFETY FIRST! Hands must be kept to themselves. No fighting, pushing, slapping, kicking, shoving, or grabbing. Playing or not. Everybody doesn't want to play and someone can get hurt.

*Acceptable Body Language is mandatory. No hanging or leaning on the ballet barre. No folded arms. Never turn your back on your instructor. Absolutely no eye rolling, and no talking back. Dancers will be dismissed. Disrespect towards any adult, volunteer, instructor, staff. etc... on any level will not be tolerated from any child to an adult.

*No disruptive laughing at others, gossiping, or body shaming. Bullying on any level is not allowed by any of your dancers. This is grounds for immediate dismissal. Everyone deserves a safe space to learn. If you suspect any bullying please go to the website under bullying and fill out a bullying form and we will ensure it will be handled.

* No parents/caregivers/siblings are allowed to hang around the dancers while classes are in session. We need all dancers attentive without distraction.

*All dancers must practice good hygiene!
