PDC’s dance season ends with a Spring Performance. We love this time of year for many reasons such as: it is the
student’s time to demonstrate all the skills they have mastered throughout the year, these shows teach students the elements of performing, costuming, make up, back stage behavior, staging, etc. PDC requires all students to be in the show and encourages them to invite all their friends and family.
• At this time our 12th annual performances are scheduled for May 30th and 31st 2024, location TBA.
Rehearsals will be as follows:
Monday, May 6th - in studio rehearsal - ALL students - 4:00pm to 6:00pm, Levels 2 and up stay from 6:00pm to 8:00pm
Monday, May 13th - in studio rehearsal - No Level 1 or Pre Baller Classes - 4:00pm to 7:00pm
Monday, May 20th - in studio rehearsal - No Level 1 or Pre Baller Classes - 4:00pm to 7:00pm
Tuesday, May 21st - in studio rehearsal - ALL students - 4:00pm to 6:00pm, Levels 2 and up stay from 6:00pm to 7:00pm
Beginning Tuesday, May 28th, we will schedule rehearsals between noon and 9pm. Times and details to follow.
Please be prepared to make arrangements for you dancer to be there on time.
• Costumes: Each dancer will have a costume to wear for each form of dance they are enrolled in. Costumes will be $70 per each form of dance the student studies. The costume fee is due, no later that November 15th, 2023. We are open to a payment schedule if that is easier for parents to ensure payments are in full by November 15th, 2023. Dancers will be measured for costumes the first week of November. We order your child’s costume based on their measurements and the size range given to us by the costume companies. When we distribute costumes, (around the end of April/beginning of May) we will have students try them on to make sure everything fits, some alterations may be necessary and is the responsibility of the parent. If there is a defect with the costume we will contact the company to get that made right. We will do our absolute best to order the correct size and if there is a question of size we will order the costume a little larger rather than smaller. Students will be responsible to purchase tights to go with their costumes, we will let you know which tights are required and places you can purchase them when we distribute costumes.
• Pictures: PDC has a picture day each year, we do this in studio. Students are required to be there, in costume and hair with light makeup. Parents will be able to purchase the pictures that day. The date for this is to be determined.
Picture day will be: TBD (current options are: Saturday, May 4th, or split in 2 days - May 22nd and May 23rd.)
• Digital Download: PDC will have the show professionally recorded and available for purchase before and the day of the show.
• Performance Fee: a non-refundable recital fee of $80 is to be paid with first month’s tuition.
• Each student will receive two free tickets and additional tickets will be available for purchase at $10 per person.
The day of the show tickets may be purchased at the door for $15 per person.
