Welcome to the exhilarating world of Sienna Dance Project.

SDP is grounded in its core values of consistency, creativity, and commitment.
Through CONSISTENCY we inspire integrity, trust, and honesty. SDP is devoted to providing our community with open communication as we grow, and flourish through the years.
We are dedicated to finding new and CREATIVE ways to provide our community with impactful classes, performances, and events each year.
Lastly, our COMMITMENT has always been to our families, teachers, staff and your dancers. Allowing everyone the space and time to flourish, experience, and learn !


SDP Policies and Procedures:
• The Monthly Tuition will be charged on the 1st of every month. All company members must have an electronic payment form on file with current information.
• A registration fee for new parents only, will be charged as soon as you sign up through Dance Studio – Pro. This is a one time $50.00 fee that will not be charged as long as you are registered.

We are closed for the following days:
New Year’s Eve/ Day, Spring Break (Monday – Sunday), Memorial Day Weekend (Saturday- Monday), July 3rd - 5th, First Day of School Week (Sunday – Saturday), Labor Day Weekend (Saturday – Monday), Thanksgiving Week (Tuesday – Sunday)
Winter Break (2 Weeks)

Fall and Spring schedule may adjust due to change in school hours, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances. Each year this is subject to change.

Recital
All company dancers and non-competitive dancers will perform at the end of the year recital. Additional fees at involved in their performance for costumes, shoes, tights, and other necessities. The amount of dances you perform in the recital is based in which classes you are apart of. The additional program dances will incur extra cost kept to a minimum. Final decision about dances will be communicated in advance.

Dress Code
Classes
Girls Requirements (Parents Might Have to Purchase)
• Black tight fitted clothing required for all project hours (classes). If the child is not in the proper attire, you will be asked to sit out. SDP branded clothing is also approved.
• Tan tights need to be worn to all practices as well as genre specific shoes.
• For Ballet Classes – nude tights and black leotard with ballet shoes are mandatory. Hair must be in a bun and secured. (New Ballet teachers may require pink tights).
• Hair Rubber Band - Required for all practices. It is a safety hazard to have hair down or in a child's face.
• Water Bottle – Required for all practices.
• Healthy Snack - If needed (outside of dance room)
• Great Attitude - Required at all times

Classes
Boys Requirements (Parents Might Have to Purchase)
• Black Jazz Pants/Shorts and Black or White T-shirt - required for all practices. If the child is not in the proper attire, you will be asked to sit out, until one is purchased.
• Class specific shoes (ballet, tap, jazz, turners)
• Water Bottle - Required for all practices.
• Healthy Snack - If needed (outside of dance room)
• Great Attitude - Required at All times.

Not Allowed (Safety Concerns)
• Jewelry - long earrings, or hard objects in hair.
• Food – No food is allowed in the dance rooms or on the mats. You can eat only in the main lobby and outdoors.
• Cell Phones – All cell phones must be turned off/ placed on silent during class rehearsal times. • Bras – All dance wear must cover the majority of their midsection while taking any SDP classes. All dancers are required to meet ballet dress code standards for those specific classes.

Behavior Responsibilities

All teachers, staff, guest instructors, students, and parents should be treated with respect at all times.
Slander and false accusations about staff, instructors, students, or other SDP families is strictly prohibited.
Bullying of any kind is not tolerated by students, teachers, staff, or parents.
No parents/siblings should be in the dance studio for any reason while classes are in session.
Dancers are expected to stay in the classroom for the duration of class unless excused by the instructor.
No cellphones are allowed for the duration of class. If a parent needs to take a phone call, please step outside through either the front or back doors.
All students should have all dance attire, water bottles, and/or anything else they need before entering the studio.
If ever a parent has a concern for their child, please send an email directly to the owner. Public confrontation of any teacher, dancer, or parent/family member of SDP is strictly prohibited.

At all performances (on or offsite) – disrespect toward any teacher, parent, or dancer will not be tolerated.
Business hours are Monday – Thursday 12:00 pm – 8:30 pm Friday - Sunday as available. Email is always the best form of communication, followed by text to our studio phone number. Phone calls are not always able to be answered. Please allow 1-2 business days for a response.
Once performance dates are selected, they cannot be disputed. All mandatory dates are at the discretion of the owner.
Videos and Photos are prohibited during classes with the permission of the teacher.
Public posting of videos or photos without consent is prohibited.
